Attractive, comfortable, excellent communication and support
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Nate's comfortable, pleasant rental. The unit is pretty, fresh, well-maintained, roomy, and stocked with both the right basic amenities (such as bath and hand soap, dish soap, a clean dish sponge, a truly comfortable mattress--items some other VRBO units omit or fall down on) as well as great extras, such as snorkel gear and an electric kettle (loved that!). Everything was wonderfully clean. The almost-wraparound lanai really expanded the unit's space and was a lovely place to sit. Nate is incredibly prompt and very clear and detailed in communications. When we encountered a small issue, Nate resolved it immediately (even though he was an ocean away!), with no effort at all required on our part other than alerting Nate to the issue.
The only reason I didn't give the property five "out-of-this-world!" stars is to mitigate other renters' expectations about the location: This is a very pleasant but modest spot in a snug residential neighborhood, where the houses are so close together that you will hear neighbors chatting into the evening (and, at least this weekend, carousing late into Friday night), or making coffee early in the morning. For us, this provided a sense of being in a real place inhabited by real people; but renters seeking to "get away from it all" should be aware.
Kudos to Nate for being so responsive and just plain nice.
