Diane is a very responsive host and checked in with us during our stay to make sure that we had everything we needed. Accommodation is clean and very well stocked (kitchen, towels, beach gear etc).

Our go-to lodging on the Big Island

This was our 5th visit to the Big Island and for the last 3 times we've stayed at this wonderful, ideally located, well stocked & verrry clean condo. You can feel the owners' TLC and their wanting to make visitors as comfortable as possible. Even on the rare gray days, the sunsets are merely fantastic. We're anxious to return again and again.

Fabulous location, very clean and cozy

This condo was everything we expected....and more. Sunsets, quiet, handy to everything and, did I say sunsets? We are solid seniors who spend most of our time outside hiking, swimming, walking & running. For us this location is perfect.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed the apartment. It’s in a central location for seeing the Kailua-Kona coast. It was very clean. The host was prompt and helpful with questions and recommendations. Our kids enjoyed the pool. There is some traffic noise, but quieted down in the evenings.

Charming condo

We had a lovely stay here. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great. The location is excellent because it’s right in the middle of Kailua and Kona. Everything is relatively close, but you still feel like you’re out of the super busy areas in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We only had to purchase one item (they had run out of dish detergent for the dishwasher).There were a couple of minor issues we encountered and Diane was very helpful and very understanding. To explain further, we lost something of theirs and were never able to find it. I offered to replace it and pay for anything they might need to fix our mistake. Diane was so understanding and told me not to worry about it. I was very grateful to have such an understanding host.The only reason I gave a 4 star on cleanliness is there were a couple of things that got missed from their cleaning staff before our arrival. I gave Diane the feedback on that and she was very receptive.If you’re considering this place to stay, I highly recommend it!

A pleasant stay

Nice place. Kinda odd layout with 2nd bedroom more of a dining room with blinds and sliding doors. Was very clean. Nice to have the 2 bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked. The beach chairs and snorkel stuff was pretty dated so we rented from Boss Frogs.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay in Diane's condo. The cond is perfect, with a very comfy bed. Diane responded quickly to any questions we had, the condo was very clean when we arrived, which we appreciated. The kitchen is one of the best kitchens of the numerous VRBO'S we have stayed in, can't think of anything we needed that wasn't there. The beach chairs and umbrella came in handy for the day we spent on the beach. The condo was in a good location for all the exploring and hiking we did. We would stay again if we find ourselves back in this area of the Big Island.

Convenient and clean, but furniture was musty and the lights in spare bedroom didn't work.

The location was great, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The down side was how dark it was inside. The battery operated lights in Murphy bedroom were dead.
