This condo is great! The location couldn't be better, attached to a nice beach, close to many others. The restaurant on premises was so convenient and also good food. The condo was very comfortable, surprisingly specious, very clean, and had lots of thoughtful amenities - including everything you need for a day at the beach! The owner was also very kind and quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything we needed for a Kona stay

We stayed 4 nights at this property and it was perfect. So many great beaches close by for snorkeling and swimming. Convenient to the shopping center in Kona, but without the bustle and chaos. We didn't need to rent a thing for our beach days, and we enjoyed a nice ocean breeze and stunning views at night. Would stay again!nice ocean

Great stay

Fantastic place to stay, sliding doors open over the ocean, great view of the sunset every night. Well stocked kitchen to whip up breakfast and lounge around watching the sun light up the sea. Hardly a walk to magic sands beach, and the restaurant downstairs is great for dinner or a beachfront night-cap.

Piece of paradise

How it is described is what you get! The view is amazing and the sounds of the ocean definitely lull you to sleep. It’s right beside the Magic Sands beach which is the best for wave jumping and great snorkeling is close by. Its location is easy access to shopping and the main highway to get to other sightseeing locations. The host, Alice, is very quick with responses to questions you may have. I would highly recommend this place to a couple that wants to explore this beautiful Island.

This property was as advertised. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional. Several items were available to use for going to the beach - chairs, towels, and etc.

Great property

The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was clean and stocked with everything needed for the beach. The view of the ocean and sunsets right out of the back door, were amazing. Being right next door to Magic Sands Beach was super convenient and made for stress free beach days.

Great location

My son rally enjoyed his second trip to Hawaii, in part, thanks to the property owner who stocked the unit with snorkeling gear (important for my son). The view and sound of the ocean from the unit was great. The small friendly beach was quite close. But the big island is really big and one week may not be enough to see all its wonderful spots…

Beautiful view but under construction

This was an amazing place to stay for so many reasons. The view is beyond words and the sound of the waves is so calming. It is well equipped and very clean. The beach by the property is a magical place and there is good snorkeling at another beach about a mile away. The only reason I didn’t give the place five stars is that the building is under construction with loud noise from 8-4 every day I was there, and I wasn’t given a heads-up about it. I just would have liked to have known that so that I could have made other arrangements. But otherwise, great place that’s close to everything. I would consider staying again but I would check first to make sure the construction was completed.

Great condo!

Great location! Close to Kona. We loved the beach right beside the condo and the Magic Grill restaurant was convenient. The condo was clean and ocean view was amazing. Easy check in and check out process. I loved that they provided beach chairs. We didn't cook but it seemed like they had all of the basics. Would highly recommend and would stay here again in the future.

Super clean. pounding waves

Not a dust bunny to be found! which is impressive considering it's tile flooring throughout. Good location to get around, but the waves are loud because they hit the footers of the development without breakers a bit out. It took us a few nights to get accustomed as it sounded like we were in a New England thunderstorm all night. Then again, it's good that the waves are loud and that there was a portable air conditioner because otherwise, you'd hear cars and harleys on Alii Dr. These are all unavoidable in this area, so no fault of the owner. Pans could use "refreshing", but the pot was ok and worked to fry eggs for breakfast. Appreciated the beach and snorkeling gear.

Kona birthday trip

Enjoyed my stay 2 years ago at this property & had to book it again. Another great experience. I love the location. I got to listen to the waves crashing all night, so relaxing! No issues. Cute lil condo. Would recommend staying here if you’re in Kona & want that ocean view as well as Magic Sands Beach just 2 mins away.

Nice location, but little old property, not very clean

The location is very good. Next to the Magic sand beach. However, amenities of the property are old and not clean. I hope that owner would take care amenities such as kitchin. There were many out dated seasonings and oils in the kitchin. I think that owner should throw them away before next customers.

Escaping the cold of Alaska

We were looking for a central location to access lots of activities ranging from hiking to, of course, beach activities. The Magic Sands beach and amazing sunsets were literally out the front door. It was an easy drive or longer walk/bike to shopping and restaurants. The Magic Sands restaurant below was very good too! Shave ice right across the street. The condo had all the conveniences we needed even though we didn’t cook. Loved having beach towels and beach equipment. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The location and oceanview of the accomodation was very good, also pleasant with a parkingspot for each room. However did we not sleep very well, you can not darken the room because of thin linnen curtains so you will be awake by sunrise. Also the room wasn't so clean, contained a lot of dust.

Relaxing with ocean waves

The unit had all what we were looking. Parking for rental, oceanfront view, kitchenette, and a bed. They were extraordinary additions like beach towels, beach chairs, body boards, snorkel gear, coffeemaker toaster, microwave, laundry (quarters only), pool, etc. The unit is literally next door to Magic Sands Beach, 15-20 minutes to “downtown” Kailua, 2 miles to grocery store, 20-30 minutes to airport, 2 hours (on HWY 11) to Volcano Park and 2.5 hours going back from Saddle Rd. which is a driving experience I can’t explain in little words. We had the most relaxing stay listening to the waves as we go to sleep, breathtaking view of the ocean and sunset. We will definitely come back and hope to stay here again. Thank you for hosting us! Kona Holiday

There was good and bad about our stay. The unit was clean and outfitted with what we needed including a full closet of beach toys. It was right on the water with wonderful views of the sunset. A very nice beach was next door. Therre is a nice restaurant in the building with good food and excellent service. Alice was easily available via text and quickly resolved the few issues we had upon check in. The bad news was that the unit was more like a studio apartment rather than a one bedroom. The building and unit are older and need updated. Just for information, there was no deck to sit on and watch the sunset. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we visit Kona.

We enjoyed our stay at this little condo right on the ocean. Stayed for 9 nights. Has a lovely view of the ocean with a screen door that we had open at night so we could fall asleep listening to the waves. The owner was very kind and communicative, and even sent us a gift card for the nearby Magic’s Restaurant as a gift for our honeymoon! Good working shower and stove. The room was a little muggy/hot, and the air conditioning unit was not the best. Not the most clean kept room in the world but decent. Had a couple instances where we saw little tiny bugs in the sink and in the cabinets. But not much. After about the third day there, we didn’t see them again. So take what you will from that. Overall, I’d give the place an 8/10. Very nice location, and good accommodations for my wife and I for the 9 nights we spent there on our honeymoon.

View is fantastic but...

The view is fantastic but here's some point of improvement : - the place was dirty, like the floor wasn't mop at all, bathroom not clean, lot of dust (top of the fridge) and ustensiles not cleaned either - I had a bug with the app Abritel, couldn't reach the host for a question, so I contact the service which give them my phone number and mail par email and tell her to contact me, but no sign. I, fortunately, could figured it out by myself. And also, the sound of the ocean is very very loud, it's not specially a con but I didn't saw it on the comment before. Thanks however, view and location are really great

The view was amazing and we loved the pool.. Location is great and the restaurant was wonderful. The bed wasn’t comfortable but the view helped make up for it!! I would love to come again but hope the bed is replaced.

The stay was in the perfect location! There was a great restaurant right next to the condos that has breakfast/coffee, and lunch and dinner. The beach next door was beautiful! Alice was a great host! She was prompt to respond and answered all our questions.
