My fault for not reading, but this place does not have ac. And it’s HOT and humid inside and just miserable. You can purchase ac, but it’s a swamp cooler in only one bedroom, so the rest of the condo is still too hot and just awful. Other than that, it was fine.

Nice stay, but incredibly expensive. I would love to stay in the area for several days, but not at those prices - much better to stay in Volcano or Punaluu and drive back and forth. I found the desk clerk to be a bit blunt - she wasn’t rude at all, just not very cheery or welcoming. I also wasn’t impressed by the $15 fee to use their air-conditioning units - absolutely ridiculous to charge an extra fee considering the high accommodation charge for the apartment.

Spacieux et confortable appartement! La piscine est agréable , le cadre très beau, et pouvoir cuisiner et faire une lessive dans le logement est formidable. Seul bémol, il faut payer un supplément pour la climatisation.

The condos were built in the 70’s and are in decent shape. The person who checked us in was warm and accommodating. Air conditioning costs $15 per day to unlock the portable units. The pool is decent but has weird rules like no games; Marco Polo or anything with a ball. The maintenance person and some people that were either investors or property managers made quite the spectacle of touring the property while we were in the pool. They were quite rude and definitely changed how we felt about the place. They argued with each other in front of us, and the maintenance manager yelled at one of my kids that wasn’t even in and hadn’t been in the pool pointing to the sign about the no Marco Polo rule. Overall, very off-putting. Checkout went fine. This place is a bit far from either of the towns nearby. You can easily walk to a nearby convenience store, but to go to town it’s a mile away. Not sure I would stay here again but the view was pretty and some of the staff were great.

Very nice unit with up to date features. Air conditioning is extra and they need to add another unit for it to be comfortable. Very nice receptive staff. Very comfortable. Appliance are new but low end. Pool Is amazing and salt water right on ocean.

Perfection. Would stay here longer.
We just needed a night prior to our one week stay and It was perfect! Upon 7pm arrival, it very warm in the unit and we panicked a bit that we couldn’t add on the $15 AC fee. So we immediately opened the windows to let air flow. Went to the pool for a little at 7:30pm and by the time we came back at 8:30pm, the unit was all cooled off. No issue at night. Comfortable beds, everything super clean, well thought. Thank you! I would 100% stay here again. Gorgeous view of the ocean, nice pool, small hot tub but there is a hot tub!!

The room is nice but the management of the property and staff is poor. The office closes at 5:30 so if you need something or help you won’t get any. There is a portable AC unit in the room that is locked and you must pay staff extra so they can come unlock it. I arrived at night so there was no staff that could unlock it and the room gets HOT & we could not sleep. I brought up the issue with the front desk person how it was never communicated to me that I had to arrive before 5:30 and about the AC unit and the woman just got defensive and blamed me saying I should’ve called to make sure everything was in place. I mean isn’t that their job to keep you informed?! Anyway there are better places to choose from so avoid this place. Also I don’t suggest going to the cafe nearby either, you’ll be waiting forever.

Weekend in Kona
Overall a very good experience. The condo was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the lanai. The condo was very hot and the ceiling fans would only run on low. Would have been nice to have a higher speed on them. The floor fans helped.

We loved everything, except it really was quite warm… And you had to rent an air conditioner for $15 a day, but it only did one room. Other than that, it was awesome!
