「This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. However, it did get very hot in the day so we opened the windows to let the hot air out. Also, a few very cute and friendly cats also live on the property. Loved the place!」

「Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. 「Fair warning to all travelers, screen shot the instructions to get into the cottage before you leave Pāhoa as the reception is spotty at best. I had to drive all the way back to Pahoa to get the information onto my phone. Cottage is quaint and small but delivers what was Expected. Clean, ac worked quite well, all the amenities you Would need. Beach across the way is an optional clothing beach so be aware if you have kids lol. 「Pros: I liked the location. There was easy access to Puna, Volcano NP, and Hilo. The owner gave me a 5 minute spiel on the property. Everything was in working order. Cons: I stayed at 4 different VRBO properties during my stay on the Big Island. All property owners except this one provided directions, check in instructions and check out instructions. You won't get that. And the directions are not intuitive at all. So I will do the property owner's job for him and hopefully save you frustration...

「This is a gem of an Inn with the beach minutes away, so close that you can hear the waves! The property was clean and we had a balcony to sip our coffees in the morning. The location is excellent with the Hilo airport only about 30 minutes away and volcanos national park about 45 minutes. Andy was a great communicative host who gave us awesome recommendations of local places to see.」

「I booked this property less than 24 hours before my arrival. The hist was very responsive and accommodating. The house is just as pictured. We got plenty of use out of the hammock out back. It was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioner in the master was nice, although with a nice breeze, it wasn't needed all night. Would definitely stay again. 」
