Staff was friendly as usual. It's your typical Econo Lodge by a highway. Ive definitely stayed in WAY worse for higher prices off of I-94 lol your stay is what you make it.
We needed pet friendly lodging on a snowy night so this is where we ended up. The room was adequate with full size beds, 2 pillows per bed and only 2 sets of bath linens. This place needs repairs and some care: Peeling paint, smoke detector covered by plastic, the towel rack is screwed to the wall at a 15 degree tilt. We've stayed at econolodges before that were sparse but well kept and a great value. Sidewalks between the parking lot and rooms had 2-3 inches of snow and chunks of salt which we unpreventablely and subsequently tracked into the room as it was an exterior entrance. A mat or broom was unavailable. Thankfully the beds were not uncomfortable and we slept well enough.

Simple hotel w/good value
Very affordable and walking distance to the concerts at Warner Winery. The hotel is simple but clean, comfy bed. Thats what matters. The clerk who checked me in was very pleasant. Simple breakfast (bagle or cereal) was included. Id stay here again.
The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely delightful. The room was very clean and it was a pleasant stay.
He is a new owner and they do not currently have breakfast, but I would still recommend staying with him.
Best hotel to stay in Paw Paw
This hotel is under new management and is exceptional.
Rooms are clean, spacious and have everything you need for a great night’s sleep.
Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Told me about the vineyard down the road as well!

A basic place to sleep. The room was clean, the shower hot, there were no bugs to be seen, and the bed was decent. They even had a little breakfast in the morning! The place could use some updating though. We stayed 2 nights and were surprised that the maids came in and tidied up each day. That was a nice touch. Overall it was a decent place to stay.

It's a no frills location, but it met our needs. The desk staff person, Amee (maybe Anee?) was FANTASTIC! She was kind and helpful and clearly has an incredible work ethic (something sorely lacking in workers these days). Our room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The property overall is rundown, but again, for the low cost, we had a comfortable, clean, safe room.

The staff was great! The room was ok but still needs some work, the ceiling where it leaked needs painted and the electrical outlet is missing, and the room smelled musty, Just needs to be updated... Very friendly tho...

Missing things
The staff is very friendly but the facility needs some maintenance. Carpet is very old everywhere, aisles and inside the room. We found no hair dryer and no body lotion was provided. Our bed was not comfortable enough and we needed some extra pillows. It was good we only stayed one night.

Property was clean. However, could not use the tub, shower was the only option. Needed garbage bags and went to the office multiple times and it was empty, no one to be found. The free breakfast was more like a snack and only if you love carbs! Coffee was warm at best. However, it was decent enough. Clean and quiet.

It was obvious that it is an older hotel, smoke detector hanging from wires from ceiling, you could tell things had been taken off the walls, but never patched or repainted the area.
The king size bed had been well slept on, i was all over that bed trying to get comfortable. There was no pillow left in that pillowtop.
The tv wouldn't change channels.
Didn't get up early enough for breakfast, so i can't tell you about that.
The safety lock for the door had a metal pin missing that was replaced with a screw, that picture is the onmy one i took.
The room itself was clean and it served it's purpose, i needed somewhere to sleep and shower for a couple nights.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay. The key cards did not work, nor did the Staff's Master Key. There was a breakdown of their system. there were no other rooms available. We had to drive 2 hours to get home at 10 pm the evening of our reservation. The individual on staff that evening was apologetic and gladly gave us a refund.
Reception lady was lovely, as was the man who came to get our tv to work. Stairs/rooms very tired, but room pretty clean. Bit of noise from other guests but settled down. Definitely not “100” tv channels as on board outside. Breakfast was very limited but better than nothing. Coffee almost cold. No cereal or fresh milk. Get what you pay for, so ok for the price. Great for the budget conscious.
The hotel is a little old and outdated. With that said, the room itself was very clean. (I'm a bit particular when it comes to hotel rooms). The other patrons were also very considerate, no loud noises/partying/strange smells, etc. I was there for 5 nights, and my room was freshened up every day, which I greatly appreciated. My only (very minor) complaint was that the "continental breakfast" did not have a lot to offer. There was coffee, juice, granola bars, cookies, fruit and only one kind of bagel (that was not my favorite). That does not deter my 5-star rating. I would definitely stay here in the future.
