Overnight
Very friendly staff. Room is clean and tidy. Rooms are dated and could do with refresh as in removing old shelf over bed, and the radio ,phone etc.
We have stayed here a number of times and always been happy. It is owned by a mining company and some of its workers stay here between shifts. So they are doing a lot of sleeping. It's a quiet place to stay.
It has all the usual motel room amenities. The rooms are larger than usual.
There is also a bar and restaurant onsite.
It is a bit too far to walk into the CBD (Hannan St).
Meals were lovely but due to being a "miners rest" very big. Breakfast served at a different motel was a bit strange. Would have no problem staying there again
All in all a good experience. There were 2 things worth mentioning. 1.Overhead cupboard needs to be moved closer to TV as it’s in a bad place where we banged our heads when we went into the fridge and then stood up again. 2.Bedhead shelf prevents any kind of comfort when sitting up in bed.
As the name suggests, there were plenty of mine workers who left early for work ... otherwise, the experience was great. The room was adequate, the reception staff was outstanding, the restaurant was fabulous and the drinks were refreshing.
We enjoy staying here. This was our fourth time. There is a nice restaurant and bar which has been recently renovated.
Rooms are big, A/C is cold, shower is good and bed comfortable. Decor is not the latest, but who cares. Everything works fine.
It is a bit of a walk to the main street of town, but only a couple of minutes in the car. It is very quiet. No road noise.
Quite reasonably priced. We paid $125, but some nights are as low as $99.

Mit kleinen Abstrichen empfehlenswert
Nicht mehr 100% up-to-date, aber insgesamt alles in Ordnung. Für eine, zwei Nächte auf der Durchreise gute Wahl. Alles vorhanden, was man erwartet. Leider hat das WLAN nicht funktioniert.

Liked: Staff & service
Staff were great and food in restaurant was good. Beds were comfortable and room was clean but very old and a bad smell in the bathroom when the exhaust fan was on. Close to the main road so could hear the traffic through out the night.
Quick easy friendly check in. Just what we needed from our drive across the Nullarbor. Comfy room with everything we needed for a good price.

Motel in a mining town.
Good value motel with pleasant staff. The only negative found was the absence of maid service on Sunday, however this does reflect the nature of service generally in a working class mining town.

A good one for the workers
The motel is clean a bit dated a bit far from the town if you are a visitor with out a car plenty to see.hot water runs out when the workers get home which was a bit frustrating as we were going out other wise you get what you pay for
