Excellent house in a superb location

We spent 11 nights here during August. The house and garden were perfect and superbly appointed for a longer stay. The grounds are extensive, peaceful and a great place for the kids to explore. Wolfgang is an excellent host and had set up a play tent and other garden toys for them. There is so much to see and do in the area. It is an ideal place to relax and recharge. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful eco house with all modern comfort. Very clean. Great big romantic garden with several places to sit and relaxe. Surrounded by nature where you can make very nice walks witch are not to tuf. Lots of singing birds. Also birds of prey.

A special house in an idyllic location

We were looking for a house that provided not only ample room for our 3 children but also the peace and serenity that wooded surroudings can provide. We were not disappointed! We were greeted warmly by Elisabeth and Wolfgang upon arrival. There is a second part of the house which they use as a vacation home which is completely separate from the rental. Even in their company they were always friendly and gave us our space. The house offered so much more than other vacation homes. The beds were neatly made with chocolates on our fresh towels. The kitchen and household was very complete and we only had to buy the bare necessities. I read an earlier negative review before renting this house but I can tell you that it is completely false. If you are looking for big screen TV's and other items that would accompany a large chain hotel then this is not the place for you. This house was completely renovated, fresh and clean. The ceilings in parts of the house are lower than average (my husband is 200 cm) but this is part of the house's charm. My husband found this to be no problem at all. Due to the way the house was renovated, the walls ensure that the house remains a cool temperature in warm temperatures. There is also a lovely wood burning furnace. The house is perfectly located with access to the Eifel, great walking routes, Monchau, Vogelsang, swimming, Phantasialand etc. We really loved our time there and look forward to going again! Thank you Elisabeth and Wolfgang!

Prachtige locatie met lieve gastheer/gastvrouw

Leuk huis met een ernorme tuin.

We zijn hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in de Eifel. Het huis bied alles wat je nodig hebt en is in de zomer heerlijk koel. De tuin heeft meerdere zitplekjes met zon en schaduw. In de omgeving volop mogelijkheden om te wandelen, fietsen en zwemmen. Voor wie van rust houd een hherlijk plekje. fietsen

Prachtig huisje met grote tuin.

Erg genoten van ons verblijf. De tuin biedt veel speelmogelijkheden voor de kinderen. Ook in de omgeving zijn er veel wandelmogelijkheden en uitstapjes voor gezinnen. Het huisje is zeer compleet en heel schoon, de matrassen zijn wel aan vervanging toe. Het huisje is erg gehorig en er hangen dunne gordijnen, waardoor de kinderen bij ons altijd vroeg wakker waren. Maar met zo'n prachtige tuin en omgeving hebben wij dat niet als probleem ervaren.

Echt een waar paradijs

We hebben enorm genoten! Wolfgang leidde ons passievol rond in het huis en tuin en we hebben een week mogen genieten van een sfeervol vakantiehuis, van alle gemakken voorzien (behalve verduisterende gordijnen). De tuin is ongelooflijk mooi en gigantisch groot, genoten van de ruimte. De kinderen (11, 15, 17) hebben het ook zo enorm naar hun zin gehad. Lekker grillen bij de grilplaats, spelletjes in de tuin, chillen in de hangmat of op de ligstoelen. De kartbaan in Dahlem was favoriet, maar ook gezwommen bij de Kursee en Zikkurat (binnen). Het dierenpark Hellenthal met vogelshow. Gegeten in Bad Munstereifel. Mooie wandelingen bij de Kartsteinfelsen mit kakushohle en de Katzensteine/burg Satzvey en rondom het vakantiehuis. Communicatie met Elisabeth was heel prettig en snel. We komen hier zeker terug!

Schönes Haus mit viel Natur rundherum

Die Unterkunft ist einfach toll! Ein schöner Ort zum Wohlfühlen, Ausruhen und Entspannen. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter kann man es sich hier gut gehen lassen und die Natur beobachten. Insgesamt eine sehr naturnahe Unterkunft (innen wie außen), sehr schöne Möglichkeiten die freie Zeit im Garten zu verbringen. Nachts hat man einen wunderbaren Blick in den Sternenhimmel und kann Sternschnuppen sehen. Die Umgebung bietet Wald und tolle Wander- wie Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Auch viele interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt es überall. Wir können das Ferienhaus absolut weiterempfehlen und danken für die schöne Zeit! Gerne kommen wir wieder ...

Der Aufenthalt in diesem sehr gepflegten, geschmackvollen Haus mit Herz war ganz wunderbar. Als Begrüßungsgeschenk erhielten wir einen wohlschmeckenden Rotwein und Vanilleeis in bester Qualität. Besonders hervorzuheben sind neben den ökologisch wertvollen Lehmwänden auch die reinen Schafwollplumeaus und die exzellente Küchenausstattung. Die Heizsituation hat uns ein wenig Hirnschmalz abverlangt, aber wer sagt denn, dass man im Urlaub nicht auch mal denken kann. Wir können dieses Haus unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Die Aussagen und Fotos entsprechen nicht wie es war. Mit den Worten und Aussagen wird "gespielt"

Titelfoto, wurde von oben, zum Haus fotografiert, eine optische Täuschung. Von den angeblichen 8000 qm² kaum eine Fläche zu sehen. Unmittelbar, direkt unterhalb und neben dem Haus gibt es andere Privathäuser. Von Alleinlage keine Spur, zumal die Hauptverkehrsstraße unterhalb zu sehen und auch zu hören ist. Überall Nachbarschaft. Deckenhöhe im Haus ist nur für kleine Menschen, 182 cm groß und man passt nicht durch. Sofa mit Decken abgedeckt. Kissen und Sofa riechen und sind wirklich schmutzig/fleckig. Bemängelung wurde so beantwortet: “Haus stand jetzt ne Weile leer. Der Geruch im Haus, da hätte doch jemand was gesagt”. Sollten gut Lüften, das müsste genügen. Schmutzig ist das richtige Stichwort: Sitzt man am Esstisch , sieht man auf das große Oberlichtfenster,.. schwarz-fleckig, inkl. Rahmen,.. auch die anderen Fenster, ne geht gar nicht. Überall in den Ecken und unter dem Bett, Staubflusen/Wolle, aber richtig viel. Man sollte nicht groß anfassen. Den Kaminofen mussten wir beim Anzünden von außen mit einem Föhn anpusten.. Das half nicht viel, Wohnung war verqualmt. Rauchmelder funktionierten nicht. Ach, es gibt keine Mikrowelle, Begründung: Eigentümerin hält nichts davon. Der TV,.. ein Spielzeug, 23 Zoll hat er. Unsere Bemängelung wurde wieder zerredet: (Andere kommen nur wegen der Ruhe und wollen kein TV). Wir konnten aus der Entfernung von 2,5 m fast nichts erkennen. Die guten Bewertungen sind uns ein Rätsel. Sind am 4 Tag dort weg, wegen dem Stress. Haben uns geeinigt. Hilfe von der Plattform FEWO bekamen wir nicht, nur Hinweis, dass wir ja privatrechtlich was machen können und dass wir nicht schon am ersten Tag was gesagt haben. Hatten wir dem Eigentümer gegenüber,.. das zählt also nicht. Berechnet wurde: 11 Nacht(en) €1.463,00 Gebühr für Bettwäsche €20.00 Gebühr für die Heizung €165.00 Reinigungsgebühr €90.00 Servicegebühr für Reisende €226,10 Zahlbar an Partner/Vermieter €1.572,58 Vom Reisenden gezahlter Gesamtbetrag €1.964,10 Rücküberweisung Beitrag aus Kulanz 343,79€. Anteilig für Strom/Heizung. Wie gesagt. FEWO hat uns nicht wirklich beigestanden und sagten uns: ("Premiumkunden" haben nichts mit der Qualität zu tun, sondern mit einem Anzeigen-Abo). Furchtbar!

traumhafte Auszeit vom stressigen Alltag

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Häuschen abseits vom Trubel der Stadt, möglichst mitten in der Natur, aber trotzdem so ausgestattet, dass es uns auch im Urlaub an nichts fehlte. Idylle pur

Wir haben unsere Zeit in dem gemütlichen Häuschen sehr genossen. Für uns war der Aufenthalt wie erwartet. Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist traumhaft und der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war äußerst herzlich.

Tolles Haus in herrlicher Lage

Wir hatten als Familie eine super Zeit im wunderschönen Ferienhaus von Elisabeth und Wolfgang. Der Empfang war herzlich, und das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Grundstück ist traumhaft schön, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten an Sitzgelegenheiten, so dass man die Sonne den ganzen Tag geniessen kann. Innen ist das Haus mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, es lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Und direkt vom Haus aus haben wir viele Wanderungen durch die herrliche Landschaft der Eifel gestartet.

Fantastic house with a large garden on the edge of the Eifel

This is a lovely house with a large, rambling garden and lots of outside space. The Eifel national park is nearby and there are lots of opportunities close by to go for walks, visit towns etc. The house itself is a lovingly converted old farm house which has been completely redone. Everything was very neat, tidy and clean. The internet speed was good too. The owner was very helpful and friendly too. I can highly recommend staying here.

Ein wunderbares Wochenende im gemütlichen Häuschen

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Das Haus ist so gemütlich und wunderschön. Der Ofen hat uns jeden Tag versüßt. Bei schönem Wetter ist der Garten wunderbar. Wir haben draußen Spiele gespielt. Die Vermieterin ist direkt vor Ort gewesen, da war das herein kommen gar kein Problem, alles wurde erklärt und war super freundlich und einfach. Wir haben die Zeit mit 5 Personen dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. 5*

Droomhuisje in Urft

Het is een echte aanrader om in dit huisje op vakantie te komen. De tuin rond het huis is fantastisch! Je bent er volledig omgeven door natuur. De kinderen kunnen er zalig in spelen! De eigenaars zorgen voor gepast speelgoed in de tuin (speeltent, opblaasbaar zwembad, kleine trampoline, speeltractor, 2 glijbanen verwerkt in de berg, ...). Er is ook veel gerief om te kunnen ontspannen in de tuin (ligzetels, tuinset, parasols, hangmat, ...). Er is ook de mogelijkheid om een kampvuur te stoken. Binnen in het huisje is het zeer gezellig. Alles is voorhanden. We vonden de regio heel tof voor kinderen: riviertjes om in te spelen, heel veel prachtige burchten, veel wandeltochten op maat, speeltuintjes, ... . De eigenaars zorgen voor een warm onthaal. We danken hen voor een zalige vakantie!!!
