Yuigahama

"Great location in Kamakura that's near the train. There's plenty of food options nearby along with a small grocery store. Area is super quiet both during the day and night. Hostel staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. We stayed in a bunk room with bathroom & shower and you can tell the room was well used. Everything was very clean. Facilities in the common areas were well maintained (microwave and lounge space). Bunk bed was fine. I had the top bunk and it wasn't the easiest...

"This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! We were able to leave our bags on the day of checkout and explore the area before heading onto our next destination."

Top Kamakura Hotel Reviews

Hyatt Regency Yokohama

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely pre cruise stay. My only regret is that I didn't stay for 2 nights as the property is lovely and surrounding area has plenty to see and so with lovely shops."

Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Haneda

8/10 Good

"The hotel itself was really nice. Very helpful staff. Plus, it’s almost adjacent to a train station. But the “Innovation City” it’s technically located in is a maze-like, soulless, overgrown and downright weird place. You will not feel as though you’re in Japan proper like you would in a hotel closer to the city, more like a liminal space."

Hotel New Grand

10/10 Excellent

"Old Luxury hotel that treats you as if you their VIP. I felt like I was in the 1092s Everything perfect EXCEPT the front desk and breakfast workers should have a couple of people who speak English better. This is just a small issue as im visiting. However, so many misunderstandings because if this. Other hotels usually have this. Location location location. My next stay to the area I plan to spend my entire trip at mew grand. Don't forget. Ferris wheel and cup of noodles museum nearby along with lots of other activities. My son 15yrs old and myself stayed and honestly didn't want to head to our next destination. He loved the water front, Chinatown and lounge area with soda and water. Keep up the great work"
