  • Checked this place out today and wow talk about impressive! I was looking for a place to swim today and this place stood out. To my surprize was just how gigantic it was!!! This place not only has an Olympic sized swimming pool but it also has a waterslide, several diving boards, a super hot steam room, 2 gyms, indoor and outdoor track, huge gymnastics room, 3 basket ball courts and more. If your ever in Kamloops I strongly recommend you check this out. They have day passes, monthly passes, and yearly plans. Now if it wasn't so hard to get to lol! I am living downtown and had to climb up a huge hill/mountain to get here as its way way way up top. I was so sweaty and exhausted from trying to walk there that the pool never felt so good. Ahhhhh!

Motel vibes with hotel quality. Looks like they recently renovated, and they did a great job of it. My room was super clean and the staff were always friendly. Very comfortable bed, and all the basics covered in the room. The breakfast was modest, but very convenient. I happened to get the room at the very corner of the hotel, and the view was incredible. Would easily recommend Vista Inn.

The staff are absolutely lovely. Overall the Vista Inn has a very cute aesthetic, gorgeous view, and a great Indian restaurant next door. Mattresses are comfortable and rooms are decently sized. I’d say if you need to book last-minute for an affordable price; this is the place to stay. However, the cleanliness of the rooms, especially the bathrooms, floors, mini fridge, and bed sheets need significant improvement. I only needed a 1 night stay last-minute, so I could avoid using the shower (though it was uncomfortable even just using the toilet). For an overnight stay this worked well for me - but if I’m in Kamloops for 2+ nights I definitely wouldn’t stay here just because of the lack of cleanliness.

The room was clean and nicely appointed. The man at the front desk was very kind during check in. Unfortunately, the air conditioner didn’t work and the walls were very thin. We had neighbours who kept us up all night :(
