“This hotel is very comfortable. The staffs are very kind. You can ask questions you have on your trip. Especially, Mr. Aditya, front office manager, told me how to go to other cities. In addition, I was very peased with meals in this hotel's restaurant. You can eat not only local foods but also Indian and Chinese ones. I can reccomend this hotel with confidence.”

“The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. There is lots of shared space around the place, and the only distractions are the noisy birds in the morning! Amazing hotel. If I could want for one thing, it would be……

“I stayed for two nights in a one bedroom "Delux Chalet" which had a nice patio so you could sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. The room was very nice with a draw-around mosquito net on the bed which I didn't use. The bathroom had been completely renovated with floor to ceiling ceramic tiles with a full-sized bathtub at one end and a large shower at the other end. The room is extremely quiet at night and only the sounds of ducks quacking in the morning...no roosters! The complimentary breakfast……

“I was working pretty intensively in Lilongwe and I needed a weekend break to wind down. Eden was the perfect spot and barely 20 minutes drive from town. My quiet, restful and beautifully appointed studio had its own mini kitchen and separate bedroom upstairs, so it was more like a small house. And the onsite bar and restaurant and extensive grounds were a delight. I will definitely return.”
