Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile exceeded all expectations! The welcoming atmosphere, fantastic staff, and genuine pet-friendly vibe made our visit unforgettable. It was a great home base for our hiking and biking adventures. We'll definitely be returning with our furry companion!

The property was recently renovated and is in excellent condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's good to know you are supporting a worthwhile organization by staying at this motel. There is a great vegetarian restaurant across the street. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely the best pet friendly hotel!! Dogs allowed in all areas, staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were perfect for dogs, water bowls provided, pull out dog beds, night light setting in bathroom lighting, tons of areas to walk dogs, all staff interacted with my dogs and made us feel very welcomed! Can’t wait to return!

A lovely pet friendly hotel, tying in with the nearby Best Friends animal sanctuary. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here much!

We travel often, and this is the best place we stayed at! We love their passion and love for animals. Laundry room if needed, Spa for animals if needed, free breakfast. Down the road is the best friends animal sanctuary, a must visit! Thank you so much!

We had such a great experience here, the room was very clean, the dog areas are incredible, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our expectations were met and more. I would stay here even if we didn’t bring our dog. The coffee and breakfast was really great too. Thank you best friends roadhouse!

The hotel is in excellent condition and very pet friendly. Only complaint is that all the food at the mercantile is vegan. Not my food preference but i do completely understand why.

I loved my stay in this property. This property is in the dead center of Kanab walkable to the Main Street that has all the restaurants. It’s super pet friendly and clean. I would stay here again if I visit Kanab.

Even if I weren't traveling with a pet I would stay here. Great breakfast and snack options, awesome staff, pretty grounds, spacious and comfortable rooms. But since I was traveling with a pet, the Roadhouse is even MORE awesome! Bowls and placemats, a dog bed my dog loved, cat tree and litter box, an awesome dog yard...I wish other hotels were even half as food in this regard. Cannot recommend enough!

We didn’t travel with a pet and picked this place for its modern and zen decor and I’m glad we did. Worked well for our family of four. Really calm, zen feel. Very nice and welcoming staff. Loved the free morning vegan continental breakfast in the Mercantile. Comfy beds, nice shower, spacious, good heat/AC.

This place was great and definitely the highlight of our trip to Kanab. The town itself, while conveniently located to many (national) parks, trails and sights, is not worth visiting. Very limited and overpriced dining options.

I have a cat. My cat freaks out go into a hotel. From the moment we got in our room, she walked around, looked at all the corners and jumped on the bed and was at ease. This has never happened before, and we travel a lot with her. Not sure why but made us happy!

Best experience at Best Friends
Best Friends Roadhouse was so special for me and my family. We brought our older dog there to spoil him for the weekend and the experience couldn't have been better! Lots of treats for him, and plenty of treats for the kids! The hotel exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to go back.
