We love staying at Parry Lodge. Even though it’s dated, the room is clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the free hot breakfast which is better than other hotels. The staff are very nice & friendly.We’ll be back again.

Definitely looking forward another stay here at this amazing , charming, historic inn. What a treasure of a place. My only constructive comment would be that, while very well maintained, the property is tastefully dated. Its part of the charm certainly but I hope they invest a bit in updating some of the dated items that are not necessarily related to the charm (such as nicer bathrooms). Small concern, and overall a great stay.

This is a very old hotel, and it has its nostalgic charm, but the pool wasn't swimmable and our room needed some updating. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. And even though breakfast wasn't included it was a very nice breakfast.

We did not eat breakfast with you. We got an early start. Ice machine wasn't working and going to the office for ice was inconvenient since we were at the very back and tired. It would have been nice to have gotten a little ice at the office when we checked in, but there were no buckets available. Clean. Great for a short night stay.

For my purposes this worked well. I was aware the property was older and my expectations were not out of line . Room was clean, bed was comfy, had a kitchenette which was nice but it was not all “redone” as some guest might expect but it was a good value for me and served well.

After staying over many years the highlight was always the breakfast buffet - even as latte as last Fall. Only to be replaced by a set menu. Ugh! Room was not clean especially along baseboards as I discovered when plugging in light! Paint is chipped. Grounds need updating & paint. Lodge cannot indefinitely rely on its past splendour

This makes me sad to say, I really wanted this place to be quaint and charming... it's just old and run down. The room was clean, but everything about it is just old and tired. The bathroom, specifically the shower/ tub, are not good and strange black particles came out when I turned it on. The floor was was slanted, walls and floorboards are scratched and dented, the bathroom door would not fully close, the bed squeaked at any movement, there was a huge gap between the exterior door and frame, and an old musty smell permiated the place. What I hoped would be a nostalgic nod to times gone by turned out to be just an old motel room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I have been staying here since I was a kid and love the memories and nostalgia. The rooms are old but always clean. I also love that we can park easily and have a spot right by the front door. One of the reasons we've loved staying here in the past is the breakfast buffet, especially the amazing French toast. We stayed last week, and part of the reason was for the breakfast. We found out that the new management has taken away the buffet option-please bring it back! Especially during tourist season, when there are lots of visitors and not much extra time to wait at tables. When we were there last week, they were out of French toast (and another item we wanted), and the wait for a table would have been longer than we had time for, so we had to leave and go somewhere else to eat. We were bummed: no buffet, no French toast, long waits, and short staffing. We understand that current staffing issues make things difficult-we see it everywhere, including where we live. I'm sorry that's the reality right now. It’s got to be very frustrating. Thank you to the kindest, most lovely waitress who has been there forever-she is patient, understanding, and truly wants to help everyone, even though many things are out of her control. You are a gem. Please bring back the buffet and let everyone enjoy it—it really is the best! We love you, Parry Lodge!
