Parry Lodge is my go-to for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas life. Kanab is in the center of a hiker and cyclist's dreamland, and Parry Lodge is right on the (quiet) highway that gets you everywhere you want to go. The staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. During apple pie season go up to Orderville and see Dot and Vern for the best apple pie you've ever had.

The room was charming for the first few hours, however.... the room wasn't really clean. We began to unpack and shower for our evening out in Kanab. When I got in the shower there was a bar of used soap sitting on top of the shampoo and conditioner dispenser. When I moved the towel that was on the tub, there were brown spots, like coffee drops. My wife found water rings on the side table, by the microwave and the TV. A used Q-Tip was on the floor when I opened the fridge an it was exposed. The morning breakfast was difficult to order as the waitress/server didn't understand our orders. The food looked nice however the consistency of the French Toast was mushy/undercooked and my wife wanted her eggs on the side of her avocado toast. The sauce was in a bowl on the side but the egg was on the toast and made hers soggy. Other than that, this place was nice and the receptionist was awesome.

Four bad things: The room with the TV is stupid. The TV needs to be in the same room as the bed. Always! And there was no coffee table in that weird “living room”. Make it a two bedroom room! The bathtub wouldn’t drain very well so I was showering in 5” of water. There was no soap or shampoo in the dispensers. The shower head was really bad.

They had a great breakfast buffet but there is a charge for guests. Our only problem was our room was not ready even though it was after allotted check in time of 4 pm. Most hotel check in times are 3pm so we were surprised when our room was not ready after 4. We have stayed here before and will continue to do so. A great little historical motel that is clean!

My boyfriend and I were traveling across the national parks, and Parry Lodge was definitely the best hotel we stayed at! It’s located in a beautiful historic place where so many Western movies were filmed, which made the experience even more special. The room was very clean, the staff was super kind, and the highlight was definitely the breakfast — a huge variety of options, all freshly cooked and delicious, from sweet treats to savory dishes. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had on our trip! Fully recommended!

The room was in good shape and they offer rooms with 2 king beds for a great price. Super convenient location both for picking up some things in Kanab and also for any outdoor recreation in that area. Unfortunately we had to leave too early to have breakfast but it seems to be popular. The cool history and photos add to some of the fun of staying there.

I like the rooms, the location, the charm and the history. I have stayed here before. I want to make a suggestion-simplify the breakfast buffet. If you limit the choices people wont be waiting for their eggs, bacon, etc or hassling the workers "do you have more....." Breakfast does not need to be fancy because this place speaks for itself. I think it would be more appealing and less of a hassle on the staff there. I give it 4 out of 5 stars for this reason. Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and ONe giant pancake and fruit options. Done.
