"This was my favorite accommodation in Japan. It was very cozy and made me feel home. We had the Sennari room. There were 4 beds in two rooms but we only used two. "Breakfast was included as well as the onsen. Breakfast was very good and had a variety of Japanese and western breakfast foods. Our room was exceptionally large for Japan. Onsen was very clean and never felt crowded. It was close enough to walk to Takayama station but a little far to walk to the older part of town where most the shops and activities for Takayama Matsuri were being held- however a taxi to the old town was only 1000 yen one way. "
