The room and the whole masion was clean and tidy. The bed was also comfortable. Such a romantic place to stay for my husband and I. We loved the complimentary chocolates as well!

It was clean and comfortable, probably the best hotel we've stayed at in Kansas City! It's close enough to walk to Westport and the Uptown without it being so close that it's loud too, and we'll definitely be staying here again for the next concert we go to there!

My stay at The Truitt Hotel was exceptional. Every detail felt intentional, from the beautiful design to the thoughtful touches. The two specialty chocolates on the incredibly comfortable bed were the perfect welcome. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I don’t want to stay anywhere else now. It was a beautiful historic mansion with an updated interior. It still has the charm and was cozy. It was in walking distance to KCAI, very clean and quiet. It was also nice because our family was in one house and could walk across the street to our family in the other house. I hope to stay there everytime I go visit my student at KCAI. Absolutely amazing!

WOW. I am honestly blown away by how amazing this hotel was. We booked it last minute and it turned out to be the BEST decision ever. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations — the amenities were incredible, the room was absolutely perfect, and the overall experience was beyond anything we could have hoped for. This place deserves way more than 5 stars… if I could give it 20 stars, I would without hesitation! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!!
