Winter Vacation

Beautiful condo in an outstanding location! Condo was clean and nicely stocked kitchenware, which enabled us to eat most of our dinners and house, and enjoy the outstanding view!

Gorgeous!

My husband and I loved every minute of our stay. The property is immaculate and unit was well appointed. Great location with immediate access to walking trails, tennis/pickle ball courts, pool and local shops and dining. There is no place more beautiful on the island than Kapalua for us and we loved our stay.

Lovely unit in beautiful Kapalua

We stayed here for 2 nights, the unit is very clean, spacious and close to the pool/BBQs. The Kapalua Coastal trail runs through the complex, with a short walk to the Ritz Carlton and even shorter walk to the Montage. Beautiful views of Molokai and, in season, whales frolicking off shore!

Property was great Location was idealCode for gate was not working and we arrived late at night. Stranger let us in thankfully as all contact numbers weren’t being answered. Door code was correct so that was positive.

Perfect Getaway

I’m on Maui to babysit my grandchildren. I treated myself to several days at this villa before my babysitting duties started! Beautiful villa, gorgeous view, and the property management couldn’t have been more attentive. The smoke alarm started beeping the first night, and maintenance was there first thing in the morning to replace the batteries. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice getaway

We really enjoyed the location. Great walking distance to trails and awesome views. Not far from the more touristy places. We like how quick and not crowed this place was. Only hiccup we had was our gate code was shut off before our trip was done. A day early. That was annoying, but we got a new code quickly. We would stay again.

Beautiful Place - But maybe not worth price?

Very beautiful condo with absolutely amazing almost panoramic views of the ocean and Molokai. The views are my favorite aspect of this unit. Location is also 5-star (near the Kapalua trails) and near a beautiful golf course/resort. But keep in mind there is no direct beach access from this unit and you will have to drive to a beach. Our biggest issue with the place was the very uncomfortable bed - mattress was very soft and sunk in — we had back and neck pain our whole stay from not sleeping well. Also the shower head has hardly any water pressure — not the end of the world, but just not something you’d expect from the kinds of rental prices being charged. There was also clearly an ant problem but we only saw a few and there were ant traps near the windows — again, not the biggest deal but would’ve been nice to know upfront especially with the price we are being asked to pay. Also someone with kids may not want to stay in a place with ant traps/poison around. Otherwise, it is an overall very nice place and we had no qualms extending our stay by 1 day to take in more Maui time — and the process to do so was very easy and staff were very polite.

This was the nicest property we rented during our long trip to Hawaii. Large space, very modern and high quality of the location, furnishings and unit. Full kitchen, huge living room and bathroom. Plenty of space on balcony for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Lovely part of the island just far enough away to be calm and quiet but close enough for convenience. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful unit located at a very quiet property. The view from this unit is even better than the photos. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was really well stocked, including little helpful things like measuring cups, left overs containers and tin foil. The walk to kapalua bay took 7 mins. The walk to flemmings took 20. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

The location of this villa was fantastic for our small family of 3. Kapalua Bay is great for snorkeling and Oneloa Beach is great for sitting on the beach and playing in the waves, and both were within walking distance. The property feels spread out and is very well maintained. Having a pool close is a nice bonus. The villa was very clean, up to date, and kitchen was well stocked. I'm not sure why someone was complaining about the blinds....pretty easy to pull up for a view and it was nice to pull them down at night so my daughter could sleep on the pull out couch. Communication was very clear and easy with the host.

Gorgeous views from the unit

Unit was not ready at 4, had to wait until 5..Appreciated the communication and remedy. Have stayed in multiple Bay Villas. This was a really nice unit. I have never chosen no view from the BR. This unit could be enhanced to have blinds that pull down from the top so at least the sky and trees can be seen. Kind of depressing to be in beautiful Kapalua and look at white blinds when you wake up. I would chose again if that was addressed.

Great property, less sunny area

Property was great, spacious, clean and quiet. The direction to the property, given by the manager, was misleading and missing an important code to get through the gate. The general address takes you to the complex but then no direction that I should pass to a gated area. Even when I had to walk around to find the unit, I didn’t have the code to enter to the parking lot. Nobody answered the 24/7 phone number and I had to carry all bags through a long pedestrian entrance. I received the code relatively quickly after I sent an email, but too late to help me on the first day. I strongly recommend a very detailed direction to the unit that the guest knows where to enter the property and how to find the unit. For the area, perhaps we were not lucky but almost every day of the week it was windy, cloudy and occasionally rainy while 5 miles to south was sunny and nice. It was not a big problem but we could not use the beach right next to us.

Ok stay

Overall it was a decent place with a nice view In my opinion the place didn’t seem newly renovated maybe just some newer furniture Our stay got off to a rocky start for the first night and half day with no air conditioning It took me several calls to complain about this before a technician came I think the office knew beforehand that the a/c was down It was 87f in our room that evening fans did little to nothing to elevate to situation Next there was constant construction noise in the unit next door from 9-5 each day we were there Had I known about this before booking I would have gone to a different place Of course Maui staff didn’t tell us anything about it I don’t know if I set my expectations too high but based upon the photos and descriptions I was expecting a newer unit There were also bird droppings all over the lanai we ate breakfast inside the first morning until I used the hose there I wonder why the cleaning crew didn’t make sure of this before our arrival I’ve stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani over ten times I guess you get what you pay for!!!

Kapalua Bay Villas 33B1

I know I’m probably biased, since I spent my honeymoon in Kapalua 26 years ago, but this Bay Villa was outstanding! So comfortable, large and fully set up with everything. Clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. The views of the ocean off the balcony and villa, so serene. Everything close, beaches, and pool. Outstanding set up. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
