"I reserved a room each for my own mother and mother-in-law. My own mother's room had some paint peeling but was satisfactory. However, my mother-in-law's room was not in good condition with peeling wallpaper. We stayed at the same time as a large group of student travelers, so the noise they made was a bit disconcerting.
