The guesthouse of Deniz is a vary unique and authentic place. Best accomondation we had on our trip through turkey. Deniz is very very nice and helped us a lot. :)

We loved Deniz and her many dogs. She is a wonderful host, so caring and eager to help. Her property is unique and very comfortable. You really feel like you are a treasured guest in her home. Deniz is always available to help and answer questions. She will arrange transportation to nearby sights as well. The breakfast is great too. Everything cooked to order.

Deniz is such a genuinely kind and wonderful person who went well out of her way to make sure we had a great visit. It was a treat staying with her, just like staying in the home of a beloved relative. Her home is very clean, quiet, comfortable, and lovingly maintained. We loved chatting with Deniz and meeting her sweet dogs. Will have to be back!

A blue home in Kars

My stay at Mavi Ladin Konukevi was a wonderful experience! Deniz, the host, was always very friendly, helpful and supportive. She’s a woman with a big heart, who loves nature and takes care of dogs and cats. And she prepares great organic breakfasts! I got to know some of her lovely friends, and we spent a great time in her garden all together. She arranged for me a visit to Ani and Cildir Lake, and a taxi to Dogubayazit, and everything was perfect. Mavi Ladin Konukevi is perfectly located in a quiet street in Kars, and cleanliness is excellent. I heartily recommend Deniz’s place. I will definitely come back!

Deniz’s place is great to stay in if you are very social, want to meet locals in Kars and/or love dogs. Deniz invited us to many outings with her friends in Kars, including dinner at her place, an outing to Ani and coffee with her friends and we were happy to be included and to get a taste of local life in Kars. She’s also a big big dog lover—she’s adopted a lot of stray dogs and they live happily in her garden and in her apartment upstairs. (If you don’t like dogs though, don’t worry—the bottom floor is for guests and the dogs don’t come in there) The guesthouse was well-furnished. We had an enormous private bathroom and there is a kitchen and washing machine specially for guests. Located in the center of Kars, 10 min walk from the bus station and pretty much any other place you would want to go to in Kars. Special shoutout out to Denis for her extreme consideration in quickly sending over some items I left behind on the day I checked out to the airport via taxi. Thank you for saving me Denis!!

Deniz is a one of the best hosts you could ever have. The property is immaculate, and perfectly located, but what is the best about it is how much she genuinely cares about her guests. Lovely conversations and a wonderful spirit. Truly an exceptional place to stay.

Very nice little guesthouse! The owner Deniz is lovely and can help with many questions travellers would have. She really has an eye for the details, the rooms are cosy and the bath ist clean and the water is hot. It's still more or less in the center of Kars, but super quiet as it is in a small backstreet.

It is a quiet alley in the middle of town. You can walk anywhere. Deniz was very friendly and helpful. She has some very friendly dogs and we spent time with them. Unique property.

Deniz is a wonderful person and the house is a very pleasant place to be. The surrounding area is a mess, but it is really in the center of the city. I can't understand how a city could let this happen, but it is what it is. It isn't cheap compared to some hotels in the area, but for me it was worth it.

Ev Huzurunda Konaklama

Tamamen tesadüf eseri bulduğumuz Mavi Ladin Konukevi'nden çok memnun kaldık. Her şeyiyle mükemmel bir konaklama oldu, hem Kars'ı hem Mavi Ladin'i çok sevdik. Deniz Hanım çok iyi bir ev sahibi; güler yüzü, samimiyeti ve cömertliği ile bizi evimizde gibi hissettirdi, kendisine çok teşekkür ederiz. Yolumuz Kars'a düşerse (ki şimdiden istiyoruz:) kalacağımız yer belli. Herkese rahatlıkla tavsiye ederim.

Sehr gastfreundliche Unterkunft

Wir sind von der Gastgeberin herzlich empfangen worden. Alles war für uns sehr gut eingerichtet und wir konnten auch unsere Touren in der Stadt und ausserhalb mit Hilfe von Deniz wunderbar planen. Das kleine Haus ist sehr gemütlich.Eine freundliche und tierliebe Umgebung mit kleinem Garten zum Entspannen.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Deniz. De kamer was gezellig, ruim en schoon. De gedeelde keuken was van alle benodigdheden voorzien. De locatie is perfect. Deniz is een zeer gastvrije en behulpzame host, die er alles aan doet om het haar gasten naar de zin te maken. Als we nog eens naar Kars gaan, dan zullen we zeker weer bij Deniz aankloppen!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt hier. Der Garten ist sehr angenehm. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist super. Aber was alles noch übersteigt ist die Gastfreundschaft und Hilfbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit der Besitzerin Frau Deniz. Sie hat uns in jeglicher Hinsicht von der Abholung, Restaurantbesuche, Auswahl der Sehenswürdigkeiten und sogar bei medizinischen Notfaellen geholfen und unterstützt und dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Kars waere ohne Frau Deniz nicht Kars für uns.

Mükemmel sıcak bir karşılama , yol boyu gelene kadar haberleşme , önerilerde bulunması çok iyi oldu. Bir ev gibiydi sanki başka bir ildeki teyzenizin evine gelmişsiniz gibiydi. Yataklar konforlu iki kişilik. Dört kişinin ortak lavabo ve mutfağı var biz dört kişi gelmiştik çok iyi oldu kendimize özel ev gibi kullandık . Yabancı misafirlerde oluyormuş . Bize bir amerikali özel odada kalan arkadaşımız eşlik etti çok eğlendik. Gezimize renk kattı . Alışveriş yapılacak mekanlar konusunda , taksici Fevzi bey konusunda yardımcı oldu . Bizim gezimiz güvenli insanlarla gecti hep .. iyi insanlarla karsilastik sayesinde. Gelmeden önce bilinmesi gereken tek şey köpek sevdalısı bir ev sahibi Deniz hanım . Evde ve sokaktaki tüm köpekleri annesi gibi. Bahçeli bir ev bahçede de köpekler var ses çıkarabilirmis ama ben hiç duymadim. Köpekler tamamen güvenli hiç zarar vermiyor çok güzel sevdiriyorlar kendilerini. Ev sıcacıktı, banyoda ve lavabolar da sıcak su çok güzeldi . Evde kendi içeceklerinizi hazırlama imkanınız mevcuttu. Bir ev rahatlığı vardı . Geldiğimiz de havlularin hepsi güzelce odalarımıza yerleştirilmiş düzenli bir şekilde bir sürü ufak hediye de mevcuttu. İyi ki burada kalmışım 🙏

Kars'ta tekrar konaklamaya gelirsek tercihimiz ayn

Kendi evimiz gibi rahat bir şekilde kaldık. Deniz Hanım'ı ablamız gibi sevdik. Köpekleri de kendi köpeklerimiz gibi sevdik. Odamız rahat, banyomuz tertemizdi. Burası bir otel değil, ev kesinlikle.

Kars’tan geri döndükten sonra hatırladığımız güzel anıların içinde Mavi Ladin Konukevi’nde Deniz hanım ile geçirdiğimiz keyifli vakit de var. Konukevinin yeri çok merkezi. Temiz ve konforlu. Kars’a tekrar gitsem başka bir yere gitmeyi kesinlikle düşünmem.

After Three Wonderful Nights

After all, the house has very clean and warm rooms to stay. All of the beds are super comfortable, you will have a great sleep and relax when turn to your room at night. Also environment is super cool, there have been lots of trees. You will take enough fresh air and listen natural sounds. Don't worry any condition about the house, everything is okey and enough to have a great trip. Beds, water, combi boiler, tea, coffee... Addition to these ones, it's super central. You can go every where in the city bu walking from there! Beside all of these, Mrs. Deniz, the owner of the guest house, was a great host! She did not treat to use as her customers, she treated use like her home's guest. Great hospitality! She turns our traveling to a real experience. She will tell you locations of every restaurants that has delicious foods. Ask him everything you want to know about the Kars. She will sincerely want to help you. It was a wonderful experience for us. I strongly recomment you to go Kars and stay in this house. If I go to Kars again, I will again stay in this house.

1 gece konakladığım Mavi Ladin Konuk evinden çok memnun kaldım.Odalar zevkle döşenmiş , geleneksel motifler eklenmiş.Deniz Hanım her detayı düşünmüş ve her konuda çok yardımcı oluyor.Samimiyeti , güzel sohbeti ve doğal ürünlerle dolu harika kahvaltısı için kendisine teşekkür ediyorum.Ayrıca arkadaki şirin bahçesinde keyifle vakit geçirdim.

Mükemmel bir tatil deneyimiydi.

Kuş sesleri, sabah uyandıran horoz sesi, dost canlısı kurtarılmış sokak köpeklerinin dostluk gösterisi eşliğinde yeşillikler içinde bir bahçede kahvaltı istiyorsanız Deniz hanım ve pansiyonu tam aradığınız ortamda sizi bekliyor. Rezervasyonu yaptırdığınız andan, evden ayrılıncaya kadar hep sıcak dostluğunu ve desteğini hissedeceksiniz. Hatta ömür boyu sürecek bir dosluğun başlangıcı olacak bir geziyi iyi ki yaptım diyeceksiniz. İyi ki varsınız Deniz hanım.
