Staff also understand the nuances to blending the Japanese +/- western resort experience. Rooms are traditional tatami style, so just be aware after a few days of sending it, our lumbered western bodies may take a hit getting up and down from the mats. Bathrooms/showers are shared - gets very cold down there. Coffee and tea station all provided for. No breakfast during this season's visit. But that's not a deal breaker. "
