We enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly, proactive and really helpful. We were surprised because this is absolutely beyond the normal German hotel standards 😙 The breakfast was excellent! Only thing we didn’t like so much was the room didn’t have A/C or fan and the room was really warm when we were there. We needed to shut the window in the middle of the night because of a thunderstorm and was bathing in our own sweat in the morning. So if we would re-visit this area again in summer, this hotel probably wouldn’t be our first choice. But all other details and services were really good!👍

Cheap, hardly worth it.

Arrived In time for a Quick dinner and a sleep en route. No restaurant as advertised (closed on Sundays). No aircondition, soft beds. Parking paid separately (12€)

The room smelled quite bad. But service in the morning before leaving was outstanding. The kindest guy at the reception gave us coffee and croissants to go - for free.

the ONLY good thing about the hotel is its proximity to the train station, literally just a 5-min walk. but that's all. the hotel room lacks air con, which made it a bit stuffy. there was no water kettle nor drinking water provided. the linen used were quite old, as you can feel and see the holes on the bed sheet and pillow covers. at the price of EUR 100 a night? definitely not worth the price. i would at most pay EUR 50. for sure I won't be back.

Nach einer sehr langen und sehr mühsamerAnreise, war die erste Meldung von der reifen Rezeptionistin, dass sie mich nicht im System finden könnten. Das war extrem nervig!! Das Hotel ist sehr durchschnittlich und wirklich schlecht!! Das Fernsehen im Zimmer war kaputt sowie auch die Dusche!! Ich habe die ganze Nacht sehr gefroren!! Frühstück war ok, aber das gesamte Erlebnis war wirklich schlecht! Ich werde nie wieder zurückkehren zu Pentahotel, da es einfach zu schlecht & alt ist!!

Ausstattung im Mindeststandard

Das Bad ist überholungsbedürftig. Die Dusche befindet sich in einer Badewanne, ohne Duschvorhang. Man duscht bei aller Vorsicht dann auch das WC mit ab. Natürlich kann man danach auch wieder alles aufwischen und trockenwischen, aber Komfort sieht meines Erachtens anders aus. Der Föhn läuft auf höchster Stufe leider nur wie ein laues Lüftchen. Das Fersehprogramm war ohne ARD....vielleicht auch nur auf unserem Zimmer, aber wir haben es nicht geschafft, es sichtbar zu machen. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Die Betten sind schön groß und die Matratzen sehr bequem.

Nach der Buchung erhielt ich vom Hotel Eine WhatsApp eine als "Ausfragerei" empfundene Nachricht in englisch. Mir war die Beantwortung in englisch nur schwer möglich. Daher habe ich eine WhatsApp mit Buchungsbestätigung und Eingangsbestätigung leider erfolglos gesendet. Auch die später Anmeldung an der Rezeption war trotz des sehr freundlichen und verständnisvollen Mitarbeiters unangenehm aufwendig kompliziert. Das Zimmer war in einem mittelmäsigen Zustand. Die Duschbedienung war kompliziert und das erste Duschwasser stank wie Jauche. Bei der Anmeldung hatte ich nach einer Kasseler Spezialität nachgefragt. Nach Erkundigung wurde mir gesagt: Die gewünschte Speise sei Bestandteil der Menükarte. Als ich diese Abens essen wollte stand diese nicht auf der Karte. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir in einem spöttischen Ton gesagt: Das gaben wir schon längst von der Karte genommen. Zum Frühstück nehme ich immer gerne etwas kaltes Wasser in meinen Kaffe. Da ich keines fand, fragte ich nach. Mir wurde gesagt ich könne mir an der Rezeption ja welches holen gehen. Also auf diesen mangelhaften Service werde ich zukünftig verzichten.
