「This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!」

「We had an amazing time staying in Kalabaka at the Rock and Stone. It was easy to find, easy to access and beautiful yard to sit and enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks looking into a small gouge. The short walk down into downtown gave us ample cat sightings and more than enough choices of excellent food. The monasteries are a must!!!」

「We absolutely loved our time at Meteora! The house indeed had a majestic view, with even an attached sun room/lounge near the entrance where we could sit and watch the sun rise over the rock formations. Nikolaus was also a wonderful and helpful host. He only spoke Greek and we only spoke English - but all was well with Google Translate. We would definitely recommend this to a group of friends or family!」

「Our first impression was that the vrbo site doesn't do it any justice! It may be small in places, but it had plenty of room for my wife and I. I was impressed with the look and workability. We took advantage of the back patio. Bed was firm and very comfy! The location was great because it was away from the noise of the tourists and traffic of Kalabaka. But it was only blocks away.
