“Molto bella, nuova e moderna. Mare bellissimo. C’erano poi due gattini che sia al mattino che alla sera ci accompagnavano fino alla stanza :) Tutto ottimo!”

“Great location, room cleanliness was excellent. But bar hardly ever open. Breakfast was hit and miss. One morning they run out of eggs at 08:30.”

“Beautiful location. Nothing nearby as far as restaurants go so a car is ideal. They have a shuttle few times a day that you pay one way for. There is a small pebble beach which is really gorgeous for a swim and snorkel right by the parking lot. Breakfast is nice, lots of choices. Coffee machine worked by the third day but was quite slow for the amount of people wanting coffee. So that was a little backed up every time. They had a few kettles with black coffee but only one espresso coffee……

“We had high expectations for this property, especially given the good communication from the owner before our arrival, who provided helpful information. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped. The biggest issue was the noise. Our room (Room 3) was located next to a busy road, and the bin collection at 5:00 AM added to the disturbance. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms—doors closing, showers running, conversations, and even toilets……

“The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are excellent, but the service falls short of what you would expect from a luxury property. The staff were friendly enough, but often appeared disengaged and lacking direction. Around the pool, there were rarely more than 10 guests at any one time, yet staff would frequently stand around rather than proactively offering drinks, checking on guests, or bringing pool towels. Instead, guests were expected to go and ask for these things themselves. All……

“Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 8j dans la suite honeymoon ! Ce fut encore mieux que espéré. On en prend plein la vue, c’est le cas de le dire. Quelques jours avant d’arriver nous avons pu échanger avec le personnel de Emerald. Dimitra, Irène, nous vous remercions grandement pour votre chaleureux accueil, et l’organisation de nos vacances. “No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ……

“Beautiful property, the suites are done to a high standard and are exceptionally clean. A lot of care is taken to mainting the property to a high standard. The staff at reception are very helpful and efficient. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to kefalonia.”
