“Tidy and roomy, but bed was too firm for me and no hot water. It was very difficult for the taxi driver to find the location due to no address, or sign. We finally had to call them for directions. Maria and hubby were very accommodating, but said they couldn't do anything about the lack of hot water until the next day due to needing a part. They acted as taxi drivers to get us to the park and also to La Fortuna, stopping at stores as needed along the way. Super nice! They don't speak English,……

“Our stay at Chris's house was very relaxing and the room was spotless and well decorated. There was cool documentation on fauna and flora and ample space to park and walk on the property. Note that the pool is a few minutes away at the clubhouse. Tronadora is about 10 minutes away by car if you need groceries or wish to eat at the local Soda. The nature soundtrack (birds, monkeys) was impressive.”

“We travelled as a family of 5 ( 4 adults 1 child) and had the best of times in Casa Blanca. The enclosed community was peaceful and gardens manicured. We could see the volcano from the house and do a lot of fishing, hiking and sightseeing. The Hosts were very friendly and helpful and the house had everything we needed and more. “Very cute and comfortable house, in a very quiet, rural area, about 20-25 minutes from the Rio Celeste Waterfall Park entrance. Carol was absolutely amazing with communication, was very responsive and gave great restaurants and attractions suggestions. We enjoyed our stay! ”

“Everything went well, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great location, just a few minutes outside of the busy downtown area and very close to the hot springs at Tabacon. ATV tours are almost Nextdoor… very close. The pool/jacuzzi was a nice perk being able to utilize it with some degree of privacy. Directions were adequate, just look for the sign on the side of the building as soon as you exit the highway and watch out for drop going from pavement to gravel…. It’s substantial but not an issue……
