We didn’t even ask them for a shuttle pick up from our bus stop but a car with a driver was already there They provide free shuttle to and fro Sukurai station which I wish I knew from before. "This location is so quiet and serene. It was a privilege to watch the monks morning prayers. Rooms were large. Location was walkable to the various sights. I misunderstood the webpage when I booked and thought that dinner and breakfast were included but no meals are served here. I’m not sure if it is the time of year or whether it is always the same but local restaurants seemed to only be open from 9 to 4."

"I chose this ryokan since it was the only reasonably priced one in the Nara area. It has a beautiful garden just outside our room and the room itself was comfortable and large. The only downside to the place was the strong smell in the room and the cockroach that I had to kill as it crawled across the room."

"Tucked away above the bar/cafe, this onsen was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very traditional in the Japanese style, and we had access to the entire area as we were the only guests staying on that night. The staff were completely lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Koyasan. Definitely worth a visit!"
