"Akan is an awesome place, and Hanayuuka hotel is a perfect place to stay in it. The lake is literally less than a minute walk from the terrace doors, and so is the cruise ship and motor boat places. The entrance to Kamuy Lumina (a fantastic night show about an ainu legend in the forest) is also very close. "Amazing modern, clean room with a comfortable bed! The staff were lovely. In a central area that is very walkable (5-10 mins walk) to the famous nusumai bridge, suehiro bar district and train/bus station. Free drinks (coffee, orange juice, tea, tequila, sake) in the lobby and lots of free amenities and rental items (e.g. a vacuum for your car)! This was the best hotel I have stayed in and for such an amazing price!! I couldn’t have asked for more and would stay again!"
