「This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!」

「This was a beautiful property overlooking the Bay of Islands and less than 10 min drive to Paihia where you can find restaurants and activities. Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The host was welcoming and went out of her way to make us feel at home. I definitely recommend staying here. 」

「My partner and I enjoyed this quiet and romantic spot. The views were spectacular and could be seen right from your room! The shower was great. The hosts warm and welcoming. The private hot tub though is really what puts this place over the top. Highly recommend! 」

「Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
