This property is incredibly beautiful, the pictures can’t possibly do it justice. The hosts are very kind and generous- they even brought us fresh fruit from their orchard. We did not want to leave- it’s the perfect place to stay.

My wife and I spent 10 days in Hawaii to celebrate our anniversary. The first 5 days were on Waikiki beach in Ohau. The last 5 days were our wonderful stay at the Kohania Villas on the Big Island of Hawaii. Ryan was a fantastic host! We were fortunate to be the only guests staying at the Villas for the majority of our stay. We enjoyed every unique aspect of the Villa property: Aloha patio for dinner or breakfast (AMAZING) sunset view), walking through the orchard to pick fruit, a quick dip in the pool, easy access to the Captain Cook Monument Trail . . . (Caution: that is a tough hike!) It was a great experience and we hope to someday visit again after the upcoming renovations which should make the property even more fantastic! Thanks Ryan!

The accommodation consisted of a large bedroom, bathroom and closet. All very attractive, clean and well maintained. There was a good supply of snacks, water, coffee, towels and toiletries. The 5 acre yard was lush with ornamental vegetation and fruit trees. We picked and ate rambutan, passion fruit, dragon fruit, avocados, bananas, oranges and limes. Kohania villas are on the walking trail to the Captain Cook monument. We went snorkeling in the bay next to the monument almost every day. Its one of our favorite places on the Big Island. It was a pleasure not to have to drive to the trail, compete for limited parking and carry our keys and valuables with us down the trail. Ryan was very hospitable, accommodating and a big part of our enjoyment during our stay. We plan to return with our family.

Hosts on-site & truly personable & amazing, focused on sharing local info & making our stay special. Lovely & comfortable villa with private patio as well as access to pool & terrace overlooking the ocean for great sunset views. The orchard experience is unique with dozens of fruit trees and a path down to coral reef for snorkeling & kayaking. We’ve stayed in rentals around the world & this is our favorite. Many thoughtful touches — music, lighting, coffee, bath products, grill. Thx to Ryan & Beata for lovely experience
