Fabulous villa in great location

Fabulous location, wonderful views of the sea, easy to walk to some great tavernas and a lovely little cove. Villa was very clean. Outdoor area was brilliant with plenty of beds, chairs and shade. Would be helpful to know when gardener was due to come so that we could have arranged to go out. Could do with a bit more kitchen equipment.

Summer Holiday in Villa Seagull

Villa Seagull was a very comfortable and spacious accommodation overlooking the sea and close enough to local restaurants and beaches. Denise, the owner, was super friendly and helpful ensuring the Villa remained serviced and clean. I can’t think of anything that would have improved the stay. It was fantastic.

First time on Kefalonia

Villa spotlessly clean with good beds and pillows. Bedrooms were bright and spacious and all had sea/pool views. It was good to have one bedroom on the ground floor. Good location on the edge of the village, very quiet at night, but still handy for local services. There were a lot of steps down to the front door which made heaving luggage up and down hard work. The gate with a slope was locked. The indoor stairs would be safer with a handrail on the upper section. Lounge seating area very small for full occupancy. Maybe it's a little old fashioned but we find that a villa guide with physical pages is so much easier to peruse than via a QR code.

Outstanding Location

Location so close to the water’s edge is hard to beat. Skala centre is easily accessible and right next door is a great cove for snorkelling. Patio and pool area is fantastic. Bathrooms in particular need modernisation. Shabby fixtures, shower heads need replacement, leaking plumbing. Overall interior feel of villa is rather tired and dated. Compensated by the rear patio area which is great!

Skala and old friends revisited

We have visited Skala many times over the years but not since 2005. Following a call from Denise the owner we decided to visit and stay at Villa Seagull. The villa was perfect much better than any accommodation we have stayed in. Skala has changed but in a good way, but not too much. Many restaurants and Tavernas much as we remembered along with new ones. Was just great to relax.

Beautiful villa with amazing sea views

This is a beautiful villa with amazing sea views. The outdoor space in particular, with a fantastic 10m pool, was very welcomed by the whole family. All 3 bedrooms are a good size and come with their own bathroom. The downstairs living space is compact, but was not an issue as we spent most of our time outdoors. Denise in particular was extremely supportive during the whole stay and always on hand to help in anyway. The town of Skala is a short 2-3 min drivea 20 minute walk and has plenty of shops/bars/restaurants. I highly recommend this property !.

Second holiday 2022

Four of us stayed at Villa Seagull in May having stayed in Skala many times in the 90s and 2000 My wife and I decided to celebrate our 50th anniversary and a big birthday in Villa Seagull in September. We spent 7days relaxing and doing not a lot which was our intention after the past 2 or 3 years of covid and lockdowns. It was made more special spending time catching up on lost time with the owner Denise. Cannot think of one thing.

Lovely Villa
