"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled...

"I’m giving this hotel 2 stars mainly because of the cleanliness and the overall condition of both the hotel and the room, which felt quite run-down and in need of maintenance. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful, and the location is definitely a strong point. However, considering the price we paid (over €100 per night, almost 500 MYR), I don’t feel it offers good value for money. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made."

"Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. Les chambres réservées n'étaient clairement pas conformes à nos attentes. Nous a ions payé environ 100 euros la nuit. Les chambres étaient situé tout en haut d'escaliers, dans la forêt. Très sombres, sans fenêtre et très petites. Je suis allée voir la réception qui m'a gentiment fait visiter 2 autres logements. "I would say this was with the cost for sure, but you get what you pay for. There was no sink in the bathroom and the toilet sprayer kept falling off. So it was worth it for the price tag but certainly not anything fancy. "

"6 jours dans cet hôtel et extrêmement déçu. Alors dans un premier temps les lits sont sales à notre arrivés ainsi que les serviettes, la salle de bain des fourmis partout. Nos filles sont tombées malade, je les ai contactés pour qu’ils viennent changer le linge de lit car elles avaient vomi. Ils m’ont donné du linge de lit pour moi le changer, je leur ai demandé de le faire. "Notre séjour a été très agréable. La plage de l’hôtel est magnifique et le complexe est très bien situé si vous aimez le calme mais tout de même à proximité de long beach et du village des pêcheurs ( en bateau). Le personnel est très accueillant et à l’écoute, Si nous devions refaire les îles perhentians, nous reviendrons au Coral View !"

"Hôtel très sympathique et agréable, cadre magnifique, personnel agréable et serviable. Chambres correctes, salle de bain minimaliste mais ok. Seul gros bémol : le restaurant, vraiment pas au top, ni en qualité ni en choix. Petit déjeuner buffet très décevant, sans intérêt. Restaurant testé une fois, ça a suffit (même le riz blanc était mauvais). Spa agréable pour un massage délassant. Bref, un bon hôtel mais un peu cher en rapport qualité/prix."
