“I expected a little better view of the water since it was so close to the river. We appreciated the Keurig coffee maker with pods since we weren't planning to buy food supplies. They gave very good suggestions about places to eat. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. We would stay there again.”

“So many postiives to write here. 1-the location is superb. One block from the water and a couple of blocks walk to some of the best restaurants in town. The Oyster bar was so good we visited twice. 2- The B and B is perfect. A very warm host who instantly made you feel at home. There is a happy hour with draft beer every day! 3- The room is perfectly spacious, immaculately clean 4- Whatever you need, the host will provide. I wouldnt recommend this place for families, but for couples its……

“Enjoyed the staff and property. Close to Southport and the coast yet close to local restaurants not just “resort” priced restaurants. Breakfast was ok but not many fruit offerings and items weren’t always refilled in a timely manner.”

“The hotel was nice, but not up to the expected standards. There was only one elevator working, the breakfast was fair, the pillows were miniature, and the A/C was noisy. Theses are minor, I know, but somewhat agravating. The guest, (which was not your fault, were slaming doors until 2AM.”

“Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay. ”

“We love the fact that there was a kitchen in the room with everything you need to cook for yourself. The pool is amazing and our five-year-old granddaughter loved it. The hotel is right on the beach and very close to the pier. Is also very close to several excellent restaurants. Would recommend!”

“What a wonderful staff. So pleasant and thoughtful. The pool was new during my stay; I was not able to use it. It looks as if it is about to open. It also has several other wonderful outdoor game areas for families to enjoy. My room was wonderful, with plenty os space for both of us to store and organize our belongings and keep the room in good shape to enjoy. Comfortable bed and pillows too, and everything we needed. The view was beautiful.”
