"Check-in = horrible - we did not feel "welcome" at all. Room - overall, very good - a coupe of issues - but nothing major - just disappointing issues for a 4-star hotel. Bar food - not great - was not hot enough - felt very "rushed". Check-out - whilst not as bad as check-in - it was still not great. 1 big shock - hotel charges €15 for parking over-night. I find that unacceptable for a 4 star hotel that is effectively in the middle of a field. Overall feeling/comment on stay: It was abundantly clear from our stay that the hotel was being run as a conveyor belt hotel – i.e.: get them in, get them out and do the least amount as possible as we can – but still over-charge them for everything. Grant it – at the end of the day – it’s an “airport hotel” – and those sort of hotels have now made it very clear that service is going to be sub-standard. But my issue here was that it was a four star hotel – so immediately, and rightly, my expectations are set at four star level. But when all you experience is 3-star service – then it just ruins the stay. Would I recommend it – yes and no. If all you need is a 1 night base by the airport – then fine (provided the price is right) – but if you are looking to stay longer and are going away as a couple/romantic getaway – then avoid it – you’ll be bitterly disappointed."

"The rooms were great. The hotel was great. The staff at the hotel were great. The shuttle bus in the morning however had a rather surly driver who refused to drop anyone at Terminal 2, insisting he could only stop at bus stop 16, which is past terminal 1. This necessitated a 10min walk with bags. While I was okay with this and had luckily factored in the extra time, others struggled and were confused as to why hotel staff had instructed us to tell the driver to stop at terminal 2, to then only be confronted with an abrupt NO from the driver in the morning. I accept there may be a legitimate reason he can’t stop (risk of a fine perhaps) but the conflicting messages with no explanation was unsettling. "

"room was amazing but it was windy and the room was cold and the wind was howling through the patio doors as they didn't lock due the door being broken also some of the bulbs in the bathroom needed replacing and heard unusual noises which can only be described as a rodent trying to eat away at the wood paneling. Second time i have stayed here and the first time was a great experience but the second stay has put me off somewhat. Stay out of room 730!"

"Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. The lounge area isn’t great and no snacks available outside the restaurant. Not even a pack of peanuts. Only one person behind the bar who has to serve customers as well as collect glasses and clean tables so something suffers if the place has a few customers. "

"Room was very clean. Comfortable bed. Staff friendly, Hotel v busy though it was a Saturday night so to be expected. I didn’t use spa. "
