"Great place to stay, decent sized rooms, very clean and lots of useful amenities like the pool and gym. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. EV charging on site at a cheap rate too. Will book again when in the area."
"Staff were very polite and helpful. Plenty of car parking spaces and electric chargers
Nice clean room. Bed comfy and bathroom clean and spacious.
Nice walk around the lake"
"Overall we had a great time and for the price we paid I do feel it was great value for money.
Pros: friendly staff, clean room, great food, great history of the building and the pool and steam room was amazing. Breakfast was superb!
Cons: (but nothing bad that would stop me going again just slight tweaks I feel would help) grounds are amazing but need some attention, sauna was either not working properly or was simply running too low, food and staff in Huntleys restaurant were fab however the room the restaurant in is so nice little things like wires hanging down the wall and seats where the view was let it down, the space could be used a lot better.
I feel it’s a solid high end 3 star hotel and misses the critical touches of a 4 star however I’ve given it a 4 purely down to the staff as they were so accommodating."
"Best stay in a hotel for a long time. Beautiful garden and the room was spotless. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
I would 100% recommend"
