"This flat is down a steep, narrow set of stairs. Communication with this host was very good, and the location is close to an Underground station though the line isn't very convenient to many sightseeing destinations nearby. This backs up to the railroad tracks and trains run 24/7 so if you have the windows open it will be loud. However, since it's a daylight basement, with windows/doors closed the noise isn't good. There is a residential neighbor upstairs whose footfalls were very audible...
