“What was great about the room: it was mostly clean. The location was ideal for downtown activities. It was relatively quiet-especially for a weekend stay.
What was absolutely unacceptable and will keep me from ever returning: Communication with the hotel was through text and it took me about an hour of back and forth to get to their understanding the problem, admitting it was their issue to resolve, and their promise of a resolution. 5 days later the issue was further complicated instead of……

“Our stay in Elk Rapids was wonderful, clean, and cozy! The location is perfect—easily within walking distance to town (under a mile) and right across the street from Bass Lake, where we loved playing cards by the water. The town is incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. Short’s Brewing is only a half-mile walk for great beer and food trucks, and there are three beaches within a……

“This was an extremely cozy rental. We all really enjoyed movie night in the Family Room. The back patio was great for meals. We especially loved the privacy, as the cabin is set way back from the road. All of us commented on what wonderful and deep sleep states we experienced while at the rental. It was so quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! ”
