Kewanee is a nice little town, plenty of places to eat, a few taverns, our hotel was good, perfect for the event we went there for.

The stay was decent enough. Best part is that it's pet friendly. Front desk guy was not very friendly when we checked in; but...maybe he was having a bad day. Beds were comfortable enough. Room was clean. No breakfast. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was pretty quiet. Non-smoking but had a strong skunk smell lingering in the second floor hallway (IYKYK). I'd stay here again.

There was a damp smell in the property. You can see recent painting on the property. The interior of the room (114) is spartan, and has a recent plank floor installation. There is a split bathroom, the toilet is small and low. The hard water makes the sink faucette hard to operate and every corner of the bath and sink area is dirty. There are no shear window curtains so the customers at the Aldi's store next door are looking into your room.

This was a one night stay to visit family in the area. Hotel owner checked me in; very friendly and helpful. Room was updated and clean. Microwave and fridge, no coffee in room but Keurig in reception area. Mine was a quick visit but if in the area again, I’d stay here.

What a lovely, clean, well-staffed hotel. Laundry on site and the 'mini-casino' and bar were nice as the area is rather quiet and away from the center of town. Great stay!

Clean, attractive rooms, fine staff-a bargain!

Fine, friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms make this “budget” property feel as good or better than many places that are much more expensive.
