  • Sunny, cozy country accommodations. Great home base from which to explore the beautiful Black Hills. 307 square feet. Sliding glass doors to private covered deck facing south with a nice view. Motion sensor light out front. Blackout curtains insure a good night's sleep! Includes complete kitchenette for family meals and a private bath. A comfy queen bed and two cushy twins in a day bed that doubles as a sofa during the day. Double wide dresser with plenty of space for two suitcases and drawers for clothing. Gas grill. Good cell reception. Family friendly.

Very quiet and enjoyed the twin fawns that visited each day. The back patio was great for a drink and a cigar.....10 minutes to Keystone was great.....rode the 1880 train that was fun.

South Dakota road trip stay

Great, cute little cottage that had most of what we needed for a few night stay to explore the western part of the state. It has an adorable patio out back that felt private and was very quiet.

this is a lovely cottage for a couple very private very peaceful central to all the great black hills attractions nestled about 1/4 mile up a gravel road the cottage is clean with all you need to stay for a couple days or a couple weeks we will likely stay here again thank you Barbara well done

Lost Cave Cottage

Lost Cave Cottage had all we needed for a cormfortable stay. The location is great. Nearby activities we engoyed are: Mt Rushmore, Crazy Hourse, Jewl Cave, Devils Tower, Hells Canyon hike, driving Needles highway and Iron Road, hiking at Badlands and the Spire trail. There is so much more to see here I will stay here again on my return trip.

4th of July

It was a wonderful stay. The cabin is by itself & pretty private which we really liked. It could have had a few more pans and cooking utensils but we made due. The bed seems to be lower on the headboard end again we made due. Excellent place to stay.

Perfect!

The little cabin was perfect for us. Extremely clean and cozy. The little decorating touches made it very homey. The 2 eight-point bucks in the front yard added to the experience.

Black Hills

The apartment was very clean and cozy. It is out in the country away from the tourist area. We loved sitting on the back porch and relaxing. Very pretty view and quiet. Would definitely recommend this place to stay during a visit to the black hills. We absolutely loved it!

Quiet clean getaway

Very nice and very clean. Everything you need is furnished, all you need to bring is food. Quiet setting. I plan to stay here again on my next visit to the Black Hills.

We stayed in the cabin from 7/25 to 7/28/24. The cabin is very cozyand well maintained. Nice to come back to a quiet place, after a day of seeing all the sites in the area. We never had to contact or meet Barbara the manager. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
