The check-in process was a bit cumbersome and the check-in and -out times were not the most convenient. Despite this, I would recommend this location.

Fantastic location in River Run Village, walk to the gondola (ski lift) and restaurants within minutes. The property manager is excellent, very responsive to our texts during our stay (pilot light was out and toaster didn’t work). Comfortable beds, clean unit with views overlooking the village.

Decent condo

Positives of the condo: clean, great location and distance from base of mountain, great communication with manager, view of skiers coming down the mountain. Negatives: far away from elevator at end of the hallway, stairs are close by, dated building and unit, dirty ski locker with a lot of water at the bottom, dishwasher doesn’t work well, cheap plastic shades that break easily on patio door. Overall we enjoyed it.

The VRBO was clean,had all the cooking utensils we needed and was close to the stairs leading to ground and parking floors. We had no problem getting into the unit. I would stay here again.

Great Location

Great location for summer festivals! Listing says updated kitchen. However dishwasher was broken, fell to the ground and hits your feet if not aware. Screens for porch need uodating. Unit has a plethora of fans in the closet but many are not functioning. Plus side beds were extremely comfortable and had great linens. Bathrooms have great pressure and unit is close to the stairs for a quick walk down to the village.

Reviewer Comments: The location of this property affords one the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city , yet it’s in the heart of the small River Run village. The unit was clean, the kitchen well appointed, and the bed exceptionally comfortable (which is at the top of my list when renting a VRBO). The only negative things about the unit - the fireplace was not operational and the two living room chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Regardless, I would recommend this unit as an almost perfect place for a weekend or week away.

They provided towels for the hot tub, which most owners do not provide. The fireplace is having issues - although there are instructions for the pilot light, when the fireplace is on there is a smell of natural gas, so we just turned the whole thing off to prevent it. Also the WiFi seemed to drop off pretty regularly. Otherwise a great place to stay for a ski trip!

Ice bath

Well the listing doesn’t say that the building is on a boiler system for the whole building. I turned shower on to take a shower after snowboarding and had to run it for 20 mins for it to get like cold. Warm wasn’t in the question. The rest of the unit was good and but a warm shower would have been nice I contacted. The people that rented the unit and their response was just like”yeah that’s normal”and “try to shower at off peak times. That’s a wild response. Idk if I would stay at this property again simply for the fact you have to take a ice bath/cold plunge shower

My children would stare out at the village square and watch people walk by and come down the main slope. The unit itself was wonderfully stocked from humidifiers, box fans, as well as kitchen supplies! My only con to this unit is I felt housekeeping could have done significantly better. Some of the concerning things my 1 year old found on the ground was an orange tic tac on the ground as well as a peanut. There were socks and other trash underneath beds/in drawers...etc. I would still rebook this unit in a heartbeat, however I would anticipate needing to clean myself. Summit County was very responsive when we reached out.

Be aware that it faces the courtyard where they set up concerts and they are very loud. We were there during Octoberfest and the first concert was extremely loud with all doors and windows shut. The host company Summit County Mountain Retreats were not receptive to our complaint about the noise and thought we should have known about the concerts and that we were facing the stage? I am not sure how we were supposed to know this and they would do nothing to accommodate a change in stay or discount for the noise.Other than that it was a very nice place although it was cramped for six people especially in the eating area.It was very clean and comfortable.Also be aware of the parking situation in Keystone. They have made it very difficult to find parking for more than one car.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Management checked in with us on second day. I let them know about the issues I had, They sent a repairman on day four and he was very professional and fixed my issues (mostly). Condo was spotless with the only exception being the top of the fridge which had dust bunnies, (no exaggeration). The fridge has missing shelves and has broken shelves, needs replacement or fixing. Bed was super comfortable from pillows to sheets, and the tv's all worked. Fireplace did not work the entire time because of a pilot light issue...there are instructions on how to get it going but that's not the point. Who wants to have to go through multiple steps to start a fireplace after a day of skiing for something that should just be on/off as most other Condos are? Shades/blinds missing from sliding glass door and repairman wanted to put up temporary blind which would not have been retractable therefore removing any view of the mountain, I asked him to just take it down and we'd deal with the lack of privacy in the living room without the fireplace.I've got mixed reviews. Location and professionalism of the rental company top notch. However the updated kitchen counters and super comfy beds are negated by the dishwasher issues and the fridge issues. For the prices being paid everything should be in working orderI guess my issues stem from the fact that at the prices being paid everything should work from day one without waiting on a maintenance person (again, cant say enough about the professionalism of mx guy)I would stay here again, but only at lower rates. It's like paying for Four Seasons and getting Motel Six amenities.

We return to river run every summer and never disappoints. Our condo this year was very clean, well stocked as we love to fix our own meals. The guest laundry was clean, and easy to use. Hot tubs were very nice, all three of them. And its always nice to have luggage carts readily available. GREAT PLACE
