“The pictures on the website do not tell the full story. The road ends 20 meters before the property, so prepare to wheel bags and walk across wet red clay. When we arrived the room reeked of cigarettes. They said they were fully booked and could not move us, but I could book a room still online, so they lied about that. “On our way back to Pune from Goa via Doodhsagar falls, we decided to take a break in between and Belagavi seemed to be the right city for that. ITC Welcome hotel is little outside of the city center, but a fantastic 5 star property with an impressive lobby and restaurant.
