We had a wonderful stay. The location is excellent- so close to the beach and lovely woods. The house was warm and inviting and had what we needed.

It was too cold to get in the water but the beach is just a short walk and it’s fabulous. The house was perfect, it was everything we needed and expected.

Our family had a wonderful time, during our stay. The location to the beach is amazing, and the house is also very close to other things on the island, like Night Heron Park and Fresh Fields Market.

The notable features of this rental are the location and generally the comfort. It is amazingly located in an area rich with trees and a quick beautiful walk down a path and a boardwalk to the beach--only like 100 yards. it is a very private and beautiful path. Was my favorite part. The beach was amazing. Literally 90 second walk and you're there. The owner has beach chairs and a little wheely cart thing to tote your stuff to the beach, plus lots of sand toys and blow ups (as of March 2025). They have lots of videos, games, puzzles, and books that are also great for families.

We’ve stayed here three times and love it. Very comfortable. Kitchen supplies seem to dwindle each time we stay there but we bring our own just in case. 3 min walk to the beach

Location, Location, Location! We had a great week at this cottage! Lots of sun and fun! We Love Kiawah and spend a week every year here. Will consider this location again. Such a short walk to the beach and the bike trails! The cleaning crew needs to attend to the very high ceilings. Palmetto Bugs, we saw 1. Well that is to be expected.

We enjoyed our week at Kiawah. However, the property manager service is strict about not letting you park bikes in the driveway. They may need a bike rack on the side or back of villa. There’s not really a good spot for them anywhere. Just a suggestion for future guests.

This was our second time staying in this home and it was clean and ready for us.
We used the outside grill twice during the week and were going to suggest that it be replaced as it is badly rusted inside. On the 11th as we were about to leave a new grill arrived and the old one removed! You are right on top of everything. A well appointed home. with all the items needed to make a great week at the beach. Tahnk you.

Previous reviews were fairly accurate - the place was a little tired and could use some updates and general maintenance, as well as more attention to detail for guests checking in. There was food garbage left from previous guests - the inside temp was 54 degrees and took the entire first evening to warm up. Clearly no one had been there but we never got a text that we could check in prior to 4 pm. It was convenient for a spot to stay during a very busy marathon weekend with few other options to book on the island or I would have looked elsewhere based on reviews…

The location is ideal, steps from the beach and right next to the bike path. The house is a good size for my family of five. It is time to replace the propane grill, table and chairs on the deck, and the pillows. It may be time to update the flat panel TV in the family room as well as the sound is starting to go and picture quality is not the best. Stains on the carpet in the family room, just made the place feel a bit worn out. Kitchen tools were adequate and the refrigerator and dishwasher worked well. Bathrooms were good. We had a very enjoyable vacation at this home. We would stay here again.

This location is AMAZING! Unfortunately there were several things that need addressed for this price point. The carpet is very dirty and smells. I wouldnt want my small children crawling on it. Several items were broken including blinds and lamps. There are no TVs in the guest bedrooms since was an issue with teenagers. The master shower is supposed to have 2 glass doors but i guess one broke at some point and rather than fixing they hung a very cheap plastic shower curtain. The 2nd bath had no tub stopper so unable to bathe children other than shower. If the price had been SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper these items wouldnt have been deal breakers. But with some repairs this would be an excellent place.

Location was great but the property was shabby. Dated furniture, and decorations. Sliding door was impossible to open. Deck was rough. Refrigerator door required two people to pull it open. Air conditioner was out for two days during heat wave. Handheld shower broken off in main shower. No mattress pad on main bed. But it is very convenient to beach and Kiawah is amazing. Just don't spend too much time in the house.

This was a lovely cottage for our girls weekend. Clean, comfortable. Biggest selling point is that it’s a 1 min walk from one of the best parts of the beach in Kiawah. It would have been nice to have beach towels provided, but the posting was upfront about that so we brought our own. (Only complaint is that we saw 2 cockroaches, but these things happen…)

We live love this neighborhood but will look for a better maintained house next time. Master bathroom very dark. Outlets so loose they will not hold a charger or appliance. Air vents very dirty. Placemats filthy and some plates had dried food on them. Mismatched cooking utensils and pots and pans. Pretty old and stained.

First, the good: The location is incredible. It's off the end of Eugenia with no through traffic, so it's a great spot for kids to ride bikes in the street without many cars. Beach access is also right at the end of Eugenia, so it's literally a minute from the home to the sand. The house has a nice layout with an open kitchen/dining/living area and a huge patio. Also loved the proximity to Night Heron Park and The Sanctuary. Living room furniture is comfortable, bed and bathroom linens were fresh and soft.
That said... the unit needs some TLC. The sliding door to the patio was off track, most of the blinds do not function properly, one of the toilets did not flush without jiggling a part in the tank, dryer was missing the filter and took a LONG time to dry clothes, many outlets wouldn't hold a plug, there was one serving/cooking spoon in the kitchen, bathroom fan didn't work, etc. The beds were not particularly comfortable, and it would be great if another bedroom had a queen rather than two guest rooms with two twin beds. The master bedroom had an older TV that only appeared to have regular cable.
We'll definitely stay on this street again, but until some updates are made to this particular home, we'll probably seek out a different one.

This house had the best location at Kiawah.
About a 5 minute walk to the beach. Close to Fresh Fields. Next to bike path. Close to Night Heron Park. Drive or bike.
Clean bedrooms. Nice living room area. Nice deck with chairs to sit out.
Low to zero thru traffic since it is off Eugenia (at the end).
A little bit of everything available at kitchen. Plenty of games, books, puzzles and movies. Smart tvs. Good wifi.
Vacasa is available with any questions you may have. Very prompt.
Would definitely use again with our family of 5.
