“The house was situated in the medieval village just down from the castle. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The hosts were gracious, helpful and very accommodating.”

“Lovely cottage .peaceful .need car to get to kidwelly as no footpath on road there.great shower and comfy beds”

“What a lovely property, well organised which we like, came to visit family in Carmarthen so good location for us, very peaceful and well looked after and homely. Would definitely come back, don't change anything as it works.”

“Clean and tidy caravan. Nice seating and kitchen area plus two bathrooms. Double bed mattress could be newer, was a bit springy. Trainline behind could disturb light sleepers. WiFi only available from adjoining hotel.”

“Firstly, the chalet was very difficult to find. The host only gave us the instruction to check the map outside reception. After having to find a member of bar staff (as reception had closed by the time of our arrival), we were told this map had long been removed. Secondly, the chalet had a mould issue. The cabin had a foul odour throughout of damp. There was mould on the curtains and around fixtures and fittings. Thirdly, the shower did not drain quickly. By the end of your shower, you were up……

“I found the property to be very clean and well equipped. It was slightly smaller than I expected, but as I was staying alone that wasn't a problem. I believe it would be plenty big enough for a couple. It was a great location for me as I was visiting quite a few sites around the area. I would highly recommend this property and I would very likely stay again.”

“Brilliant location and flat. Great host.”

“Great place with character ”

“Everything was spot-on had a brilliant time thank you so much once again”

“Beautiful peaceful surroundings, very comfortable accommodation. Not much to do in the local area, need to drive further afield. Be prepared for hot tub to take a while to heat if youve never used a wood fired one”

“Wow! What an unbelievable place! Me and my fiancé (I proposed during our stay) just got back from the best few days at Cariad Pod. The facilities are amazing, everything you could need and more. Everything was spotlessly clean and perfectly laid out. We loved using the hot tub and outdoor projector to watch movies! The additional extras they offer are fantastic aswell. We hired the ooni pizza oven and made our own pizzas which were incredible and so much fun. They also decorated the pod with……

“The cottage was lovely. However, the owners weren't about, to ask questions. We couldn't use the log burner as there was no wood or anything. There was no basics when we arrived, such as toilet roll or milk and no shop to buy things after 1pm. The location was lovely but very remote. Had to travel to get anywhere. Lovely and quiet though. The history of the cottage was fascinating.”

“We had a perfect stay at this property. The location is excellent, the garden is beautiful, and the house is spacious and very well equipped. Kevin is an outstanding host who went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. ”

“We absolutely loved the lodge! Such a beautiful place and a wonderful little getaway. Stargazing from the hot tub was a really special moment on our mini moon :)”
