The Maui Vista complex and condo is one of the best locations, just across from Charlie Young & Kamaole Beach Park I. Cove Park, our surfing location, is just around the corner, with in walking distance to this complex. This 1 bedroom condo is equipped with everything you would want/need while on your getaway. Fully furnished and updated kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 TV's, electronics, iron/iron board, beach gear, free internet, all linens, etc. In the bedroom you will have additional A/C and TV for lounging in the evening. Spacious lanai is a wonderful spot to hang out in the mornings and watch the whales during season. Table and chairs on the lanai allow you to meals, Maui's amazing sunsets or just to sit and have a tropical drink and book. BBQ grills and pools are located through out the complex for all guests use. They also have tennis courts for those that enjoy the game, items and keys may be check out at front office. Maui Vista will become your home away from home in Paradise!

Very clean, AC cooled the place off quite quickly with a unit in the living room area and another in the bedroom. Accessible to the beach across the street and walking distance to foodland and other restaurants/bars. Would definitely book again!

Need new bar chairs and table on deck( can’t see over railing) we are deck users. Also umbrella would be good as to hot by 4 pm to use deck , get rid of old bench.Air conditioner in bedroom is too noisy to run.Need to change out the old chair in living room, not comfortable. Condo was clean, liked updated flooring in living room. Like location

Overall was an excellent stay. Would rent again. I do think the condo we stayed in could use some updates. Especially shower entrance (kind of small.) I think glass blocks should be taken down and just use shower curtain. Would get be much more room to enter shower.

Family vacation

We had a great stay! The beach was just a short walk and lots of food and shopping all around. The pool was nice and clean and the house was very nice.

Overall okay….. but definitely not clean

Not one to leave bad reviews…. But the unit was not cleaned very well prior to our arrival. The bathroom sink had had hair all around it, shower has mold, dead roach on the floor along with dirt and sand. I had to wash the mattress pad on the pull out bed before my daughter slept on it. That was also stained and had previous tenants hair all over it. I also mopped the floor as it was filthy. No response from the owner regarding our concerns. BUT unit was equipped with good supplies (cooking, towels, beach chairs). Easy walk to the beach! This would have gotten a good rating if it was cleaned better. Not sure id stay here again

Little place in Paradise

The location across from the beach is fantastic and a lot of thought was put into making sure the condo has all the amenities for you to enjoy your stay. The host seems genuine and was quick to respond to questions - thank you! Miss it already!!

Great access to the entire Island. Perfect for a family or a couple looking for a place that don't need all the amenities as a resort has. All in all was a perfect stay for me and my son 11 days.

Maui visit after 15 years

The scenery is gorgeous, and the property is clean but needs an upgrade of the rental. Few comments nonsmoking rental but someone smokes paka lolo Saw baby roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Ceiling fan is so dirty other than that nice and we like it.

Great location 1 building across the street from Charley Young beach which turns into Kamaole 1 2 and 3. Well stocked kitchen easy to use and easy to clean. The shower can use a good cleaning as there is mold in grout of glass blocks...

Nice But Dated & Needs Some Updates

Bedroom, bathroom, and living room were clean. We killed some roach-like bugs in the kitchen on the counter next to the stove. The mattress on the bed is very soft and sagging in the middle - so probably overdue for replacement. Both AC units worked poorly. The fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, bathroom sink and shower we're all clean and fine. The unit was close to multiple beach front parks that were nice - although there were some homeless there too. Walking distance to multiple restaurants. Northbound traffic on S Kihei Road was almost always slow.

Great location, bedroom A/C issues

Positives: location was great, close to beach and within walking distance of many restaurants. Both beds were also comfortable with plenty of linens and towels provided. Patio was nice to have (although it is a big stretch to say this is a partial ocean view as described in the listing). Negatives: the a/c in the bedroom was not working properly and it was a daily hassle to be contacting the property manager about getting it fixed (although they did respond fairly quickly in most cases). After a lot of back and forth and near the end of our week they had told us a new unit was needed and that it would be replaced but it never was while we were there. While there was working a/c in the living room area I would not have reserved this property had I known there was no a/c in the bedroom because I prefer it cool to sleep. We also discovered bugs on a daily basis, mostly in the kitchen (and we did not leave food out). I would say they were not cockroaches like a previous reviewer had mentioned but they were rather big and unpleasant. A suggestion I would have is to provide more supplies for laundry detergent (only 4 laundry pods available, which were enough for us for a week but may not be enough for a larger group who are staying longer), toilet paper (only 2 extra rolls?), and shampoo (apparently "basic soap needs" does not include shampoo).
