Loved this place!

The location was awesome. Access to beach-it was right outside the door. The pool was perfect too. The unit was clean and in good condition. Yes, there are a couple small paint repairs needed on the walls and the carpet could use an upgrade, but it was clean and these things did not cause any issues. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was amazing with its views over the ocean. We could not have been happier and would stay here again.

Condo needs a little renovation. Mold on sliding bathroom doors along with a few other things. Replace the can opener

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family loves this property and this was the 2nd time that we stayed in #203. It was very clean upon arrival and suited all of our needs. What a wonderful view it has to walk out to every morning when you wake up! Directions for check in and check out were sent in a very timely manner and the entire process was easy and efficient.

A room with spectacular views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Waking up to the sounds of the waves and sunrise from the window was such a great feeling. The view of looking down semi private beach in front and the mountain in behind was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony for breakfast. We like Kihei area being very casual with local island residential feel. This complex is located in the best area of Kihei.Just note that it is not a regular 2 bed rooms. The master bedroom is not a separate room, but there is a slide door separating it from the living room if needed. Not a problem for us.Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect location on the beach

Decent accommodations with a perfect beach location and access. The property was a bit dated and undergoing some renovation work while we were there, but overall a positive experience. I would definitely consider staying at the property again if visiting this area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is a gem, and I don't think you can beat the view - Molokini and another cinder cone to the south are rad. You can't beat this location. Being able to walk out onto the beach and having a huge lawn was clutch. Saw a rainbow wrasse snorkeling too. Mahalo!

Felt Like Locals!

Best location, Best beach! We felt like locals in the know here. Walking South and Walking North along the beach brought adventure and beauty every day. Uber & Lyft rides to shopping centers are short and cheap from this location. You can walk to the Boat Docks where some of the snorkel trips load and unload from. (We went on the Express Molokini by Blue Water Rafters. Highly recommend!) Also next to the boat dock there is a secret cove where every eening we saw sea turtles resting. We kept a safe and careful distance from them of course. Loved this unit! Having a separate rooms from our kids was sooooo worth it!

Steer Clear of this condo! Danger to kids!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Steer clear of this condo if you have children! We had a horrible experience here. They list this condo as kid friendly, but it is certainly not a safe place for kids! We stayed here for a week in June 2022. The condo is generally not well maintained. The carpet is extremely stained and there are holes in the carpet. When we stayed, the master shower had no hot water and there was loud construction next door that they did not inform us about ahead of time. But the most dangerous thing about this condo is that the interior doors they have on the bedroom and the kitchen are extremely heavy with industrial closers on them. Children have a difficult time opening the doors because they are so HEAVY and they close automatically. Our daughter’s finger was crushed in the bedroom door and it was partially amputated and broken. She had to have emergency surgery in Maui to reattach her finger. It was horrific. We paid almost $7,000 to stay here and they refused to refund our entire stay. They only refunded half. They told us insurance would handle the other half of the refund and then our claim was denied. After all the issues and the fact that our daughter was severely injured, they should have refunded our entire stay. They falsely advertised the condo as kid friendly and they failed to warn us of the hazardous doors prior to our stay. Then management never inquired about how our daughter was doing after we left and we spent our entire summer dealing with her injury. We have thousands of dollars in medical bills still. Shame on you for not doing the right thing by your guests!!!! Steer clear!!! This was supposed to be our dream trip that we spent thousands on, but it ended up being a total nightmare.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Mana Kai in the past and this has been the most upgraded room so far. Very good experience and the communication was great. We appreciated having the pool towels, beach chairs and snorkel gear there for us to use. Highly recommend. The only downside was that the Palms Restaurant and on-site gift shop were both closed, but otherwise everything was great. Room is on the second floor, but still has a great view being in the ocean side of the building.

Great location

This unit at the Mana Kai was a very pleasant place to spend our Maui Vacay. The location of the Mana Kai is amazing. Away from car traffic, very close to Turtle Traffic. We were disappointed to arrive late at night and find our bedroom floor carpet soaking wet and so so smelly. There were small industrial fans working to dry out the carpet. Nobody came to pick up the fans and they stayed in our room for the duration. We were also unaware of the construction going on in the restaurant below. The Five Palms is definitely gone! As is the small convenience store that was once located on the main floor. The dumpster for all renos was directly below the entrance to our room.

A Room With A View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is spectacular, on the beach, close to great shopping and wonderful food choices. However, the unit itself is tired but very functional. The internet was poor and TV very challenging to work. But the service line was able to walk me through how to get basic cable. Snorkle off the beach is really great and the unit has beach gear in good condition available. There is a restaurant and convenience store on property which is a huge plus!
