Just Okay...

The condo was just okay. The location was okay. It was easy to get to but the beach area isn’t great for relaxing or swimming and the pool was average. The condo had what we needed but we felt it wasn’t worth the cost and the added service fees. If it was half of the price we would have had lower expectations. We notified the owner of some cleanliness issues. Hopefully, that gets addressed for future renters.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo we got at Maui Sunset was perfect for our family of 4. We got a one bedroom and a twin bed and pull out couch(which we found out was broken but it didn't bother me because the couch was fine to sleep on). Having laundry was such a perk!!! I am very happy with the lady at the front desk. She was very friendly and so were the men working the grounds. Pool was wonderful. Beach was lovely. Location was perfect for us! I loved our stay at Maui Sunset! Way better than a hotel. Felt more like home.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice location, nice property and pool, BUT quality of room not worth the money. Would not stay here again. Room and furniture outdated. Some equipment broken. Mattress gross and mattress cover literally falling apart on single bed. Pull out couch bed broken. Pulled up cushions to find handwritten note not to use. Had to wash and put extra layers on single bed for family to sleep on (due to mattress looking gross). I actually washed all bedding before we slept on it after seeing the mattress pad and mattress. There is an air conditioner in living room and bedroom, but they are on a timer. You must wind the knob and it stays on for an hour. You then awaken hot and have to get up/ wind the knob again. So sleep not too comfortable if hot/humid. I did email each time I found something wrong. Rec’d emails back 2 of 3 times. No one came to fix the broken pull out couch after they said they’d check on it. I also emailed about my concerns when we got home (before I did my review) and no response.
