Villa 5 at Villas By The Cove is a spacious 1 bedroom Villa Suite that boasts 180 degree ocean views from the living room and covered lanai. Newly remodeled, and conveniently located, this 700 sq. ft. 1 bedroom villa offers privacy and comfort set back in a tropical lush garden filled with mango and palm trees. Villa 5 sleeps two adults in one King bed and one adult or two small children on the full size sofa bed in the living room.

Experience an older Hawaiian style charm with a modern twist in this newly remodeled villa that was originally built as a beach bungalow in the 1950's. Villa 5 features a spacious ocean view living room, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable king bed, full bathroom with a walk-in shower, ocean view covered lanai and private gated parking conveniently located next to the villa front door. Designed to feel like a second home, this villa is conveniently supplied with all of your travel needs such as an iron and ironing board, Tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher soap capsules, beach towels, and a clothes drying rack for wet swimsuits after playing in the ocean across the street.

2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, 1 beach umbrella and 1 cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach. Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one minute walk from the property front gate.

For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sun bathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and whale watching. Also a golfers' paradise with nearby world class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer's markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.

Guests have access to our complimentary private Concierge service for assistance with arranging group activities such as luau's, whale watching and snorkel boat tours, private chefs/caterers, pre-arrival grocery service, in-residence spa services and group transportation.

Great stay

This unit was perfect for me and my daughter. We could walk to various shops, the supermarket and restaurants. We rented a car for all of our activities and had secure parking. The unit was modern and the perfect space. We utilized the surf boards and the boogie boards to go surfing right across the street. The pool area is very well done with relaxing music playing all day. I even was able to get in a yoga class, which was also a great perk.

Great location!

We loved this property for our 5 day stay in Maui! The villa is super clean and well provisioned (except for spices/oils for cooking). We used the beach gear and cooler for a couple days on the beach. We viewed the sunset from our balcony. The common areas and pool are lovely, with Hawaiian music piped in. We were able to walk to a cute local coffee shop each day. The Wailea restaurants were a quick Uber away. The bedroom is on the street side and the street is busy. We used a white noise machine every night we were there. This unit has its own parking pad, which we found super confusing the first night we arrived, in the dark. We looped around the block 3 times before we figured out where the gate was. We had to buy oil and spices in order to cook a meal. There is only salt and pepper in the villa.

Beautiful views!

My husband and I stayed here for 11 days. It was the perfect place for us. Very clean and we loved the beach view from our little patio every morning. We utilized the complimentary beach chairs, umbrella and body boards at the beach. We loved the location and how close we were to everything we needed. I felt safe and loved that it was in a gated community for added security. The property manager Shahaf was awesome and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

This Villa delivered in all areas. Plus the on-site service by the manager was very helpful. He greeted us on arrival, showed us around the property and the beach and was always available with a very welcoming and friendly attitude. Made for a very enjoyable vacation.

Cozy place with a great location

We had a great time at villa 8 for our short visit to Maui, convenient for a business meeting in Wailea but with the more down-to-earth atmosphere of Kihei. The location is fantastic, just a block away from access to the Kamaole beaches which are great for swimming, walking, or enjoying the sunset. There's also a lot of fantastic food within a few blocks, including some amazing food trucks.

Great place, great location, great value

We had an excellent time at villa 8 through the first two weeks of December. The suite itself is well appointed, though basic. But clean, well stocked and good wifi. And the box of beach gear (including boards, chairs and a cooler) are a great bonus. Ralph was a great manager - quick to respond and friendly. But even better than the suite itself is the location. Right by Charlie Young and all the restaurants and markets, and just north of Wailea and Makena. The "secret beach" right across the beach is THE BEST! Waves for boogie boarding, but nice and private too. And a perfect spot to catch the sunset or catch the turtles, or even whales right on the horizon! Not a lot of drawbacks to this place. It's not luxury, but it is good, solid value. A few people have mentioned the noise from the street - it's not really an issue at night, but I can see that it might be an issue if you were putting down a young infant during the day. Enjoy your stay here - we sure did!

I greatly enjoyed my stay here! The beach was a block away and the unit has a good ocean view. Restaurants/shops were also within walking distance so everything was very convenient. The apartment was clean and Ralph was appropriately communicative. The bedroom does face a busy street so there was noise from traffic, which didn't bother me, but is something to consider. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location, great stay!

Loved our stay at Maui Cove unit 8. Stayed in late August for 5 nights. Ralph was great to work with. Gave 5 stars as we felt it was in a great central location, great views from the lanai and a great value for the price. Could use some interior updating and a new sliding porch door as it was tough to open, but like I said, still a great value for the price and you're basically just there to sleep. Loved having use of beach accessories, snorkel gear and cooler, also took advantage of use of washer and dryer during stay. Loved the "secret" beach, which was a highlight of our stay. Saw sea turtles on the beach in the early morning, and there were never more than a couple others on the beach with us at any time. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Great Stay - Recommended!

The booking via VRBO was a breeze and Ralph got back immediately with our confirmation. The property was nice, right across Cove Park and the view from our villa was great (ocean view). Since we were doing a late night check-in, Ralph provided specific instructions to reach and access our villa and had kept everything ready. It had everything to make our stay comfortable and we were highly impressed with the amenities provided including fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella, mats and even sunscreen, first-aid - literally, it had everything. One thing we really liked - the villa had a separate bedroom with closet and stuff - unlike few other properties. It's at a convenient location along Kihei with easy access to all of the great beaches, restaurants, stores as well and all the places we had planned for our activities. Make sure you visit the 'secret beach' - a very nice place to view the sunset and relax - extremely picturesque. Ralph was very prompt in all our communications all throughout. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and great stay. And comparing the price and amenities you get - definitely recommended and 5 stars!

We had an excellent stay at this villa. Ralph is very helpful and he answers our questions very quickly. The place is very clean and have everything you need. The villa is cold, just perfect, because of the AC and the fans. It is very well equipped and there's a lot of things to go to the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, boggy board, mask, fins...). You can make yourself your meals and eat outdoor looking to the ocean. That is just perfect. The location is also perfect you can go walking to the beach, to the park and even to the supermarket. If we go back to Maui one day, we will certainly try to reserve this villa.

Ralph is great along with the property.

When we arrived in Maui Ralph sent me a text saying that our unit #8 was ready for us early. He all of the information how to access the property. Everything was ready when we got there. Ralph was great through out the four weeks we were there. The view from the balcony is outstanding we eat most of our meals out there and watched the sunset. Every thing was clean and neat and grounds were the same and were kept that way. There were two gas grills that we used several times. We loved this place and the location. South Kihei has shops, food stores, eating places and beaches with in walking distance from Maui Cove Park. The private beach is great for swimming and watching the sunset and had a sea turtle hanging around the point that we saw several times. Fantastic place to stay in Kihei!

We absolutely loved our experience at Maui Cove Park Inn. The location is ideal for exploring all that Maui has to offer. You're also steps away from Secret Beach, which is a spectacular place to watch the sunset! Our villa was very clean, stocked with all the necessities and even extras like beach chairs and mats. The whole place has a lovely design and cozy feel, which made us feel right at home! Parking access was easy and we certainly appreciated having air conditioning, which we used at night. Overall, we can't say enough about this gem of a villa! Ralph is an accommodating host and a clear communicator. We only hope to return someday soon!

Property is nice, in an awesome location and great view.

Everything is nearby! Even 3-5 turtles every night, only 300 feet away. The place was clean and the owner was very helpful, even double checking by phone that we understood the sleeping arrangement for the grandchildren. We'd recommend this to others and the only note that we'd make is the A/C unit might not be enough for the hottest months.

Best Value and Location

This is a great spot. You can walk to all the beaches and grocery stores/restaurants in Kihei. This particular villa has a great balcony patio with a view of the ocean. Right across is the surfing spot and a small beach. Villa itself is great, well kept grounds and two Weber BBQ's just make it perfect. Best value in Kihei by far. Ralph is awesome too.
