Review of High Tide at Cambridge Reserve
When we arrived at the house, we looked around and saw a drawer was broken & I took a pic & showed it to the appropriate people at the time! The brochure itself was deceiving…..the beach wasn’t “right” there! There was a pic of the pool which showed a “lazy river”…..it was a lazy circle!!!! The whole brochure was deceiving & we will/would not recommend this place for a vacay for someone who wants to be on the beach! The only thing that I appreciated was it was pet friendly! We had to go buy toilet paper & paper towels because we didn’t know how to go about & get the toiletries! Also, the shower didn’t have shampoo in it, so I’m glad I brought my own!!! Also, we did NOT know how to watch the tv….we had to call & get someone out to show us how to use it!!! We ARE BIG golf enthusiasts & we caught the LAST hole of the US Open!!! The owner of the property should have a binder set out with instructions for everything!!! This was our FIRST & probably the LAST time going through VRBO to booking a trip!!! I feel as though we DESERVE to be refunded the cost of this trip or at least half!! I saw other properties RIGHT ON THE BEACH FOR LESS!!! Never again!!! Thank you!! P.S. really the only good thing about this trip was the arcade game..I didn’t know it was free & I had put money in it! Another P.S...the grill was DISGUSTING..we couldn’t use it…shouldn’t have been up to us to clean it!!! Oh, another good thing was my husband liked the gym! I hope someone reads this & reaches out to me!!
