I had to do a long drive and stopped in the middle of the night for a little rest and the staff was very friendly, quick to get me in my room, and the place was super quiet so I was able to go right to sleep. Great place!

Convenance to so much!

Highway access, Dairy Queen as well as other restaurants available. Comfortable beds, clean rooms for a reasonable price .

This place has been “renovated” but the money has run out. The door to the room had been kicked it and barely repaired. The staff were very nice and were understanding when we said we couldn’t possibly stay there.

Best part was the customer service and quickness of any concern or necessities for the room. Mgmnt was even approachable and friendly. Overall I am pleased with everything during my stay at Hill Country in Copperas Cove, Texas and would suggest to my friends & family to experience on their next outing.

Our beds were clean and comfortable and it was quiet. The room needs some serious updating though. The towel bars are rusted, toilet paper holder was broken, faucet handle was loose and the toilet kept running, the bath towel was stained.

The woman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The housekeeper was also very nice. However, the room was dirty, there was stuff all over the walls, there were roaches ( we killed several) enough that we emptied our bags outside before taking our things in our house upon arrival home. Our neighbors also decided to have a party at midnight (which is no fault of the facilities) The overall experience we would not stay there again.

My tub had mold in it and the bathroom ceiling was molded too...the room was clean. But no one was there in the office at check out time.If you reserve the room online, they surprise you with a pet fee for each animal at check in. No bed bugs in my room.Staff at check in was friendly.

The TV in the room would not turn on with remote. Also, the electric outlet by desk did not work. Room was very narrow and it was cramped with two people in it. Desk chair was over sized and made it hard to get between desk and bed. Food and service were excellent.

Dirty & full of bugs

The stay was passable. The room was dirty and dead bugs in the corners. The bathroom looked like someone had exploded all over the wall and was not 100% cleaned up. The bathroom sink was clogged by old grapes as well. The beds were clean at least. The covers were very clean and the staff was nice.

Unprofessional

Check-in was unprofessional and awkward. Clerk was sitting in entrance couch, whole body splayed out, while she was eating some microwaved slop and focused on her phone. Instead of greeting, she opened with, "Do you need something?" Upon being behind the counter, she was inattentive, as if I were a distraction for her to get back to her phone. The room uses Styrofoam cups for coffee -- exactly opposite to eco-aware. Carpet hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Don't go barefoot on these carpets. Other customers were permitted to stay in the parking lot late into the night, with their noises. Poor location -- no real healthy food options nearby.
