Right at the base of Pico, elevator building, Ski In Ski Out!

Remodeled top floor unit that has unparalleled mountain views from the two-story windows. Uograded kitchen cookware and added dining table and seating in great room in summer ‘23. Master bedroom and bath on the main floor, and a loft bedroom with separate bathroom upstairs. New kitchen with all the things you need, even things you didn't know you needed like a waffle bowl maker, new coffee maker with drip and K Cup, and Instant Pot. New cookware in ‘23, new dikkng table and chairs and sleeper chair in loft.

Comfy great room with powered reclining leather couch, and two oversized lounge chairs, one is a sleeper chair. New TV with Xfinity cable, or connect your laptop to the tv and stream movies too. High speed Internet also.

Open sky top floor balcony for relaxing after your activities. Apres, mountain viewing, and stargazing, it has the best view at Pico.

Elevator building with ski locker and laundry facilities on the first floor, and unlimited free wood for the fireplace.

Location: not only located closer to Boston, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut than Sugarbush, Stowe and others to the North but just minutes from Killington to the East and Rutland to the West. Also located right at the base of Pico Ski Resort, right across from the main lodge you cannot beat this spot.

Parking: remember parking hassles last year due to COVID restrictions? Not here. When you stay at our place you automatically have access to the Pico lot and two car spaces.

If you stay at Killington you are limited to the few choices there that are always crazy busy and super expensive, and farther away from the affordable and convenient shopping, restaurants, etc in Rutland.

This is the sweet spot, trust us, as we have been coming to Vermont and skied every mountain in the State since the 1980s, and we picked Pico for all of these reasons.

Pico is the "locals" mountain, much less hassle to get to and around, it feels like a private mountain, yet Killington is 5 minutes away for more action. Regardless of the season, this location has it all. Fantastic mountain biking trails are very close by, and you can walk to the Long Trail or AT for hiking or snowshoeing. Snowmobile trails are right next to the entrance to Pico as well. Kayak or canoe or just swim in the Chittenden Reservoir minutes away also, or Lake Bomoseen. So much to do in every season, not to mention "leaf peeping" out your two-story mountain view windows!

The bus to Killington and Rutland picks up right outside of our building, so the kids (or early skiers) can hop the bus to Killington and you can join them, or pick them up later.

Ski Boots: Please do not wear ski boots in the condo and remove ski boots before entering, but do not leave ski boots or anything in the hallway.
Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are from 9PM to 8AM. During this time noise must be kept to a minimum. Kids shall not play in the hallway at any hour.
Trash and Recycling: Trash and Recycling must be separated, put in designated dumpsters on the West end of building D. Do not leave trash in hallway.

Perfect Winter Getaway

Family of 6 had a fabulous escape. The room is perfect - love the decor and vibe! Couldn’t have asked for anything better - a few steps to the lifts, great lunch spot on site with live music, and drive able to a ton of restaurants and shops. Responsive host, and great all-around stay.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our New Year’s ski trip at Kevin’s location. The mountain was less chaotic than other ones we have been to, which makes it easier to navigate with 3 smaller children. The condo is exactly as described and more ! A stones throw to the main lodge and can enjoy watching people ski from the condo. Checking in was super easy and the condo was equipped with anything you may need …even an over the door basketball hoop that our 3 boys LOVED.We will be adding Kevin’s place to our list of awesome ski stays and can’t wait to try it out for mountain bike season at Pico as well!

A Gem

Hosts are truly wonderful and caring. They attend to detail after detail to ensure your stay is comfortable and accommodating. You are supplied with everything you could imagine needing including those hand and foot warmers you may forget or didn't realize you'd need. The condo is cozy and incredibly functional, great cookware, and the views of the mountains from the condo are incredible. The balcony is an added bonus and allows you to be right in the mix from a comfortable distance. Being able to prepare meals for the family and avoid the lodge was a plus for us. Elevator building, easy parking (after 4pm) and ski storage is a definite plus. We loved our stay, always do and will continue to return.

We had a great time at the Pico condo. It was exactly as billed. New inside, right across from the lift, everything we needed was there. Living area is very comfy. Kevin is a very responsive host and any questions we had were answered immediately. Would definitely go back again.

Awesome location, great property

Property is excellent, could not have a better location at the base of Pico for an easy family getaway. The unit is perfect for a family with two separate sleeping areas and the owner has it equipped to make everything simple for you. The owner was fantastic during our stay as we faced some unprecedented cold temperatures, he was incredibly communicative and felt so bad that we had minus 20 degree days, he invited us to stay an extra day and get the kids on the slopes. Don’t hesitate, this property and owner are great.

The host of this property is exceptional. He is completely available to you with any questions, needs, or concerns. The place was cozy and beautifully located. It is kept clean and fully equipped. Being able to ski in and ski out was a dream. We loved the fireplace and the convenience of the elevator building. Everything was there so all we had to do was focus on the reason we were there: to skiiiiiiiiiiiii!!! We couldn't have asked for a better time.

Excellent place only steps from the lifts!

We stayed in this condo for 4 nights in February 2022 with my wife and 2 kids. It is amazingly close to the lifts, closer than you can park! Can't get much better than that! Very convenient spot just steps from the lodge. The best part was being able to go back to the condo to have lunch with my wife who doesn't ski anymore. I never even needed to go into the lodge the whole time I was there. The ski lockers are on the way into the building. Skiing at Pico is great and there were very short lines (if any) even during Saturday and the vacation week. The place was clean and well appointed. Everything we needed was there. Mattresses are all new and comfortable. The kids loved the huge bunk bed. The fireplace was good to have too. There's even a telescope that can see up to the top of the lifts and upper trails. The owner was very accommodating, helpful, and has excellent communication. I plan on renting this unit again in the future. Thanks! Justin B

Amazing Time

Great property

I have been snowboarding at Pico for 20 years and have stayed in many of the slope side condos. This property is very well maintained and located so close to everything. Kevin was easy to work with and very attentive. When we checked in I had one quick question and he responded in less then 2 minutes. I highly recommend you stay here. You won’t regret it.

MLK Ski Weekend

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Mother nature supplied 14+ inches of snow and the slope side location of this property was amazing. We would say (my wife, 2 teenage boys, and myself) that this was our best VRBO. Owner was amazing and attentive. Property was even better than advertised.

Pico Condo/Loft was Excellent for family ski trip!

My family of four stayed at this cozy condo for our annual family trip to ski at Pico and Killington the week between Christmas and New Year's. We had absolutely no complaints about the accommodations. The owner was very communicative and responsive and we could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a great stay at his place. Everything was fresh and clean and we could tell that the owner has been working hard on some updates of the condo. There was no wifi during our stay, so if that it is important, please check the listing for its availability for future stays. Cell service was excellent and we used that for entertainment. Ski locker locker worked great, fireplace was nice and warm, and overall a very convenient place to stay for skiing or vegging out at Pico!
