“The cottage is lovely and everything we hoped for when booking a thatched roof cottage. We enjoyed listening to the stream that runs through the backyard and how cozy and homey the cottage felt. The only negative about our stay was that it was too short.”

“Tim was the perfect host. He was quick to reply to emails and text messages. Tim greeted us upon arrival and clearly explained everything we needed to know about the house.The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfy and bedrooms are roomy. The small single bedroom is for one person only. We ate all of our breakfasts and 3 dinners at the house. Kitchen is well equipped. “Our family of 17 celebrated a special birthday at this wonderful home. Even though it was large enough to accommodate all of us, it was a warm and comfortable place for all of us. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, grocery stores and golf course. Patrick and Victoria were always within a phone call or email if we needed them. I would highly recommend the Shelburne Lodge and if I could I would rate it 5 1/2 stars.”

“Of all the places we rented, this row house was by far our favorite! It was perfect for our family. An easy walk in to town for shopping and dining was really nice. Parking in the back was great. We were happy to do laundry as we were 1/2 way through our visit to Ireland. We also loved catching up about the adventures of the day with a pint and a lovely fire in the fireplace. We truly felt at home during our stay.”
