"Very accommodating, comfy beds (a real +). Kitchen fully loaded with supplies (including spices and condiments). We spent so much time down on the dock crabbing and fishing. Our dogs loved the freedom and space. Made friends with others in the area and did dog walks with them."

"We loved our stay at Fred’s property. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate enough for us to enjoy the water, but the views and cozy cottage provided a relaxing time away nonetheless. Location was great — off the beaten path but still a quick drive to town."

"Plenty of space for a family to spread out and enjoy indoors and out. Large area for outdoor activities, canoes and kayaks, life jackets, cornhole, hammocks, soccer ball, a pier, etc. The weather wasn't really cooperative - it was very windy the first 2 days. But enjoying the morning and evening on the large deck was wonderful. Lots of games, books, pool table and Xbox (although 2 of the games were missing) for the evening. Also, had a great day at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg Charter sailboat ride on the York River and exploring around Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. Enjoyed Something Different restaurant, Precarious Beer Project and Billsburg Brewery. Only problem was the hot tub not getting hot, but host tried to get it running for us. Neighborhood very peaceful and quiet."
