"I don’t know why the ratings were so low for this hotel but it was perfectly fine. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub was very hot compared to other hotels we have stayed in where we were disappointed by the hot tub being cold. They should remove Sandpoint from there name as it deceives customers that the hotel is located in Sandpoint which it is not. That is the only issue we had. And the entrance and exit to the hotel was fairly inconvenient as you had to often drive thru the Home Depot hardware store parking lot to access the hotel. Overall it was a good stay and we were grateful for a place to sleep for the night."

"It was very clean. The mattress was too firm for me to properly rest. The creek was very pretty to walk to and I enjoyed the wildlife. It is a bit more of a walk to the marina than I anticipated. The store was open but the Captain's Table was not open any of the 3 nights we were there. We were thankful for the Starkink as there is no cell service in this area. Thank you Caroline."
